Durasteel won't hold up to beskar or Phrik... Thinking we need good metal... Also a cortosis weave for Lightsaber combat... Or we make it from cortosis or something LS resistant.

I agree with you both, we need better material. What you've got to understand though, is that these are generalised weapons. For example, if a crew member had only a pistol, they could be supplied with a standard cutlass. Nothing special, just something they could use in a fight. Also, if this faction growls large, weapons could be sorted by rank. The higher your rank, the better quality of weapon you have access to.

Does that makes sense?

Oh, and as soon as we have better material, I'll start on creating Phrik swords and the like.

There's not that many of us, so actually obtaining the metal for a bunch Limited-production weapon subs isn't all that hard. Any of us could basically just throw up a thread for phrik or cortosis, although I don't exactly remember the requirements for those, besides finding an actual planet that has them.
