Strengths:

1. It has a very high thermal/energy resistance, making it excellent for protecting against blaster bolts and other similar energy weapons
2. The obsidian blade will look like no other made of obsidian

Weaknesses:

1. It is meant to be purely ornamental, however the blade puncture skin, and cut leather, meats, anything soft. It cannot cut through bone, metals.

Description: Faith wanted to give Draco something unique for their wedding, a symbol that combined their two cultures together. So she had the the Artisans craft the hilt of the knife into the image of a dragon, at top of the hilt is the symbol of Clan Vereen, at the bottom of the hilt the symbol of House Organa. This was not to say that the Clan was over the House, but to to draw a line, to show the joining of the two.

The hilt is made of oak dyed red, all metal in the handle is made of phiridium which has been polished and then edged in gold. The blade is obsidian carved and shaped into the dagger's blade.

[member="Faith Organa"], this looks pretty solid. I realize that this is probably intended to be more of an art piece than a practical weapon, but given some of the strengths & weaknesses wording, I'd probably use the melee weapon template for this. Basically, you'd just need to add these fields right after the "materials" heading:

Classification: (Dagger, Sword, Whip, etc.)
Size: (One-handed, Two-handed, etc.)
Length: (Via Metric System)
Weight: (Via Metric System. Note that most swords are 2-4kg.)
Special Features: (Is it resistant to certain weapons? Is it telescopic? Even if you've discussed your features at length in the Description line of the Base Template, this is a good place to list them.)
