Dreadmasters Questions

Hi there! Well for my character I decided I would focus him into the mind skillsets and try to become a dreadmaster.

I know of two dread masters oocly [member="Darth Isolda"] and [member="Isley Verd"] but what I was wondering...Are there any others who are still active?

Does someone have a list or a link which once I need to be learning?

If a dread master reads this can we maybe thread ? =3

That's the path I'm going down myself...love to tinker with the minds of others.

I have been told like of the mindset skills are for higher levels (Knight and above) but you can learn them as an Acolyte as long as you understand that your character won't always be successful. For example, my character learned Mind Shard as an Acolyte...but until she reached Knighthood she struggled with it.

Another power which is associated with Sith Magik...I suppose....is Force Fear. I found a small list of dark side powers/sith magik from wookiepedia but it doesn't cover everything. So if someone gives you a list, could you please pass it along. Most of her powers are going to be associated with the manipulation of other's minds.

Is a Dread Master as well as [member="Darth Odium"].

Isley isn't a "dread master" per se as in canon -- the CIS used to have "Dread Guard" which were half vongclone troopers.

Question: Would it be possible for one to become a self-made Dreadlord?

I am possibly going on the path that would have me master the biological triggers of fear in individuals, on primal levels, though I doubt anyone can specifically train me and groom me for what I seek to accomplish.

I feel as if though I will have to scour long nights of the Wookie's force list for biologically related force ability that I can twist into new tools of abject horror, and then spend even longer nights looking for a way to learn it IC. :p

The Dreadmasters used Summon fear, a Sith magic skill which drove its victims insane and made them feel their worst fears to the point of hysteria. I suppose [member="Darth Carach"] is a master of this, assuming this is a part of his mentalist skillset, and it is also a part of mine (though I hardly use it as a main ability, relying on the waves of darkness instead as it effects far more people that I go up against - though I am still quite capable of using it). I'm sure a few others may use it, I'm not sure if [member="Matsu Xiangu"] does or not.

This Character is perma-dead unless the upcoming event does something crazy and he comes back. Any help I could have given would be in past threads.
