- Integrum: The substance is combined with phrik to create an alloy that can resist disruptor blasts and lightsabers. The alloy forms the outermost layer of the armor, and is molded into the distinct serpent design on the cuirass.
- Dragonskin: The famous leather forms an energy and lightsaber resistant layer, as well as giving the armor its dark green color and slight iridescence.
- De-ionize: Various materials and devices incorporated into the suit provide ample protection from EMP, ION, and electricity.
- Veteran of the Psychic Wars: The Stone Underlay enhances the wearer's mental Force abilities, particularly telepathy.
- Utility Belt: This suit of armor prioritizes gadgetry over protection, and to that end it proves quite versatile. It is equipped with a specialized rebreather system, OnmiLink device for accessing the Holonet, liquid-cable launcher and molecular electric clings for climbing, a personal energy shield, an individual field disruptor, and micro thrusters located in the heels of the boots to allow limited flight.
- All the Scars Are On the Inside: While the Stone Underlay can enhance mental abilities, it also makes the wearer more vulnerable to mental attacks from others.
- Kinetic Force: Protection from kinetic blows is minimal.
- Heavy Metal: The armor is quite heavy, impairing movement and flexibility.
- Gaps in the Armor: Can be found at the joints, where the layering is thinner for the sake of mobility.
- I Give You Power: A sybarium synthetic crystal housed at the back of the suit serves as the main power source. Should the crystal suffer damage or tampering, it could potentially render the electronic components unstable or unusable.
During the SJC invasion of Lao-mon, Tammuz Hoole, a general of the Shi'ido rebel army, was inadvertently killed by Nimdok's biot assistant, Jaina Grayson. Jaina was attempting to shoot the Maw soldier Zachariel Steelblood with a disruptor pistol. Her risky gamble proved a great loss, as one of the disruptor shots struck Tammuz, killing him instantly.
Nimdok personally delivered Tammuz's ashes to his widow, Lilith Hoole. Since Tammuz had been Nimdok's mentor, Lilith offered to give him something from Tammuz's personal armory, which included items dating back to the Gulag Plague. Nimdok agreed to take an old suit of armor bearing a variation of the insignia of the Benandanti clan.
Given that the armor was several centuries old, some alterations and updates had to be made to accommodate both Nimdok’s preferences and current technology. The result is a suit which is outfitted with all the bells and whistles to compete against other armors being made today, while still retaining its original design and feel.
