GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Dren-Gil
  • Origins: Al-Khālī: The Academy of the Dead
  • Other Locations: Various throughout the galaxy
  • Classification: Botanical
  • Average Growth Cycle: 2 years to grow from seed to maturity and then able to survive as long as it feeds off meat and force users. Able to hibernate for long periods of time while feeding off of nutrients on the world.
  • Viability: Able to survive within vacuum and oxygen rich envirnonments. Eating meat from force users and attacking ships.
  • Description: Dark green and black with flecks of white or hues of other colors. The massive drengir variants were spliced with the force to allow them to travel around the galaxy instead of being stowed away on ships or implanted on worlds.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Average Height: 5m
  • Average Length: 10m
  • Color: Dark greens and blackish coloring
  • Nutritional Value: None... do not ingest
  • Toxicity: Highly toxic to the body.
  • Other Effects: N/A
  • Distinctions: Large in size for a drengir with the ability to survive in space as well as developed hyperspace and repulsor organs allowing it to lift itself and propel itself in space... while also jumping to hyperspace to travel around the galaxy.
Strengths:
  • Collective: A twice formed mindset. The Drengir Root mind combines all of them in a group and the Orchids collective intelligence means they can act in unison and slowly learn. Giving the Dren-Mura a steep learning curve when it comes to adding others to their root mind.
  • Domination: While not perfect, their corruptive mental attacks to combine and convert others to their service and to betray their friends delivering them to the Drengir is more dangerous spreading the wanting to feed more and more.
  • Flight: Able to move itself thanks to organic repulsors and travel through hyperspace. They can spread spores of more drengir to other worlds.
Weaknesses:
  • Force Nullification: Being a force being nullification fields harm them physically and mentally. Severing them form the root mind or making their ability to move under their own weight next to impossible.
  • Force Light: Being a darkside creature the lightside of the force is exceptionally powerful against the Drengir normally as mutated sithspawn creatures it does exponentially more damage to them.
  • Progenitor: THe root mind is one of the most dangerous and what happens to the progenitor can attack and affect all of the children it has made. From being put to sleep to death if it is destroyed.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Designed in the halls of the dead facility from more and more experiments on the creatures. Seras has operated and developed some of the more dangerous biological weapons that would be able to spread out. In this case a newer, larger and more dangerous drengir variant that can travel through space and latch onto ships to infect and feed. As a dangerous means to conduct warfare they can send them to far flung worlds now and the creatures will feed and will survive. With this variant being a testing bed for a smaller series within the variants of space borne creatures for different traps and attack means. Seras has seen several experimental variants as they are stockpiled for sale as biological weapons able to be used as the facility continues to strive for being secured and left alone from the galaxy.
