Max sat in the back office of the laundromat that served as one of AOSS's safehouses, one of the few he conducted interviews in. The AOSS had a very unique cell based structure that befitted a smaller government like the Alliance. Handlers controlled cells, each cell operated autonomously, preventing one double agent from toppling the entire organization, and Max controlled them all. Mostly through a datapad or computer. He didn't need to walk his Agents through everything that needed doing. They wouldn't be selected for service if he did.

The Director sat in the neat little office and smoked a corellian cigarette as he awaited the newest potential member of the team. A Marine it seemed. He wondered what type of man he was, beyond the file before him. His sunglasses reflected the small amount of light that slipped in through the blinds. His multicolored button up shirt sat open and his shorts and boots were in their normal places. Under his left shoulder sat a slugthrower and next to his desk a sheathed vibroblade. Blane entered the building in a calm manner, he was walking directly to Maximilian's office as his eyes peered around almost suspiciously.
The chances to be anything dangerous for him here wee like 0,004% probably but it was his nature to check anyway and be on guard even among the allies.
As soon as he arrived in front of the Director, he saluted him with respect after that taking a straight position holding his hands at the back.
"Blane Nightfall reporting for duty!" He said with a serious expression.

His body seemed well trained, he tried to be as disciplined as possible while in his eyes can be read determination and ambition, however the appearance did not matter too much, blane was a warrior just like his father and his father before him.

Max gave a grin as [member="Blane Nightfall"] saluted. By the gods it brought him back, he remembered vividly his early days in the Stormtrooper Corp, when he looked a near clone of the man before. Max nodded lightly and said

"Lieutenant. Sit, and never do that to me again."

He'd admired the professionalism, but the AOSS was about being a silent professional. The one that blended in while at the same time being thoroughly exceptional. Except that's not what Blane was here for, he wasn't to be some operative sneaking about. Max needed him to observe.

"Tell me a little about yourself." He said in a neutral tone, keeping his eyes firmly on the Marine. Observing his every twitch.

Blane sat on the chair the same serious expresion remaining on his face, he showed no sign of unrest and looked directly at the man in front of him as his words reached Blane's ears.
His eyes looked away at the thoguht of his past and after few secodns he spoke "As I am sure you are aware of, I was born of balmorra and I come from a familly of soldiers. I was trained to be a soldier since I was young, my dossier can tell exactly my abillities. I also had some... bad encounters with some imperials before joining the rebelion which I don't think is written in the dossier." A sudden silent took place while his voice soudned as if it wasn't all, Blane wasn't sure if this was something to discuss with anyone around him but he finally spoke again "I also have a technique to not let any force user to read my thoguhts, which im not sure is mentioned in the dossier either."

"Could you elaborate on both?" Max continued to [member="Blane Nightfall"] in his neutral tone. Most rebels had one reason or another for being what they were, normally involving heart ache or desertion. He raised an eyebrow at the mention of force blocking. Most had to have formal training to learn the intricacies of that field, and while Max had his own tried and true technique, it was a rarity for someone to just instinctively know what to do.

Blane took a deep breath as he begin to speak still calm "The encounter was when the imperials attacked and captured my brother and father to torture and interrogate them... They hoped he would reveal secrets of the republic, plans, tactics, strategies... But he didn't. When I found out what happened I took my father's weapons and equipment, ten I got inside to save them, but it was too late, only my brother was alive." He then looked away in an attempt to hide a clear sadness. Blane gulped then continued "About the blocking technique, well.. is a bit complicated to explain, to block your mind is a bit harder and I rarely do that, I mostly like to simply think something else than what they want to know, to make my mind full of useless things... other times I let them know what i want them to know so that i can easily make a trap."

"Good." Max said to [member="Blane Nightfall"] with a grin. He could tell by the man's pauses and facial expressions that the Marine is being genuine. "I'm glad you're being forthcoming." Max said with a drag on his cigarette.

"Do you understand what I'm going to ask you to do? The difficulties it might cause you? You'll be watching your comrades, and I know it sounds like a horrible thing to do, but it's necessary."

Blane nodded without hesitation "It would seem like a horrible thing, but is something I must live with. We are in war and we can't afford to have enemies in the heart of the rebellion, after all is better this way than risking the destruction of a better future." He didn't like to do this, but he knew it was necessary, whateverthe agency was doing was probably nothing compared to what they will save.

"Glad to hear it." Max said to [member="Blane Nightfall"] with a grin. "You'll send all reports on anything you may or may not find to this holonet account through a secure line" he passed the man a piece of paper with a short url on it "And let us know anything you might need or if you wanna go full time. Welcome aboard Agent." Max said, rising to shake his hand.

Blane nodded taking the paper while with the other hand begun to shake Maximilian's. He was very happy to assist the rebellion in any way possible although he tried not to show "Understood sir, I won't dissapoint you. I will keep my eyes open for the enemy agents and I will be ready for anything else the agency might need from me." A great future awaits the rebellion and Blane kenw this, war is coming to ravage the lands once more, and to unleash its fury over this worlds and all others, it was a glorious thing to be a part of the rebellion, at last for him.
