Manufacturer: Darkwater Security

Affiliation: Astute buyers.
Modularity: No.
Production: Mass-Produced.

Material: Durasteel, transparisteel and electronic components.

Description:
Tired of carrying around that card key? Tired of handing them out to useless mooks who always end up losing them? Fear no more. Darkwater Security offers you the Argus Biometric Lock, designed so those pesky infiltrators won't be able to simply waltz through the front door after flashing a card badge.

After installment into an entryway, the Argus will only open for those whose biometric data is coded to the lock. A palm scan, an eye scan, and the repetition of a sentence are all that are required. In the process, the Argus will scan the fingerprints, palm veins and hand geometry, take a DNA sample from dead skin tissue on the palms, cross-reference the odor of the individual attempting to gain entry, scan the retina, and check tonal fluctuations for inconsistencies.

More than two failed attempts will trigger a building-wide alert and send the biometrics of the individual attempting to gain access to building security.

The information stored in Argus Biometric Locks is also uploaded to the Panopticon database.

The harmonic interference of anti-security blades does not disable the Argus Biometric Lock. Any attempt to do so will trigger an alarm.
