Encrypted Vocoder - I-APE's can switch to an encrypted language. When speaking in this language, their speech is drawn out and ghostly with robotic effect (Listen to Nihilus speech for reference. That, but with robotic influence). The speech is then translated by other droids. This is done when communicating sensitive information.
Or when they're just insulting those present and engaging in offensive banter with fellow I-APE's
Strengths:
Physical Strength - I-APE's are very strong. The muscles contained within their chassis are made of specialist fibres that mimic Human muscle fibre
with superior effect
Bulletproof - Being built mostly out of Duraflex, the I-APE is essentially bulletproof
Fisticuffs - I-APE's are extremely proficient in Unarmed Combat
Know Your Every Move - I-APE's cannot see 360, but their sensors not only constantly scan their surroundings, they are linked to the Manarai Command sensory database, so they know where everyone and everything is.
Weaknesses:
Eye-Eye - An extremely well placed shot to their single eye will reduce their movement to echo-location as they are blinded. A powerful bolt could also travel through the eye and destroy the brain inside, killing the droid.
EMP/Ion - If subject to an EMP/Sufficient punishment from Ion rounds, they will deactivate for up to 1 minute depending on EMP/Ion intensity
DESCRIPTION
The Alpha series I-APE's are a series of Protocol Droids manufactured by DEAD to work at the most High-Priority DEAD Facilities e.g, Manarai High Command. They are not flimsy, innocent, inferior Protocol Droids like the C3 Series. They are highly specialised and designed to not only run complex tasks, but to also dispatch of any unwanted lifeforms with utmost efficiency. Their memory banks are not cleared as they have been engineered and educated to serve only DEAD. Ideas of Independence or Freedom are not considered.
They tend to have very dark humour but engage in such things rarely as they're tasks are constant and they intend to complete or maintain them without distraction.
They speak all known languages in the Galaxy but will engage in an encrypted dialogue when conversing sensitive information.
