PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Kive is the standard appearance for a Darktrooper, however his armor has deep seated scarring as well as significant wear and tear on his form. On his head is a streak of red paint falling down over his optic down to the edge of his helm. His optics remain the same intimidating red that all Dark Troopers glow, even if they occasionally flicker in and out.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

As an individual, Kive is cold and detached which lends itself to him feeling hollow as an entity, attempting to fill that emptiness with whatever he can find, such as meaning. He is effectively: Aimless. Despite this machine like behavior, he is quick to judge others, especially for minor transgressions and for personal grudges, he is stubborn to release them. Of course, this also means that any debts he feels he must pay, he will pay them, regardless of what is needed by the other party. Not only that, he feels in a sense.. Alone. He believes himself to be the last of his kind, or at least, the only of his kind that thinks at a similar level. All of this, he compartmentalizes with a soldier's disposition.
In spite of what ended up happening, Kive holds no real rage towards organics, at least towards the wider populace. Those who are responsible for his discarding however, will suffer, being one of few things that pushing him to keep going. The other, is his original purpose: Killing. Being a specially designed combat droid, he is very good at combat and thus, killing. He does not resent this purpose. He does not forsake it, it is what he is and that is never going to change, nor does he want to change it. He simply wishes to expand upon it and find out what in the hell he can or should do. This, combined with his original purpose, amounts to severe Atelophobia, the fear of making mistakes, or imperfection, fearful that everything he does will have amounted to nothing, that he will have amounted to nothing.

HISTORY

Created in an effort to reintroduce the Dark Trooper program and bring compliance and order to the Galaxy, DT-K5 amongst his kin as it were, was a product by [one of the Imperial factions, that's a work in progress especially] and placed under the command of a Thelora Vex, where she would lead them into a small number of intense and long campaigns, for him, however, she decided to make him more distinct, placing a red stripe over his optics, so she could recognize the droid. Throughout each, they could not be afforded shut downs or resets, allowing at least some of them to develop personalities after this prolonged amount of time, spending literal years active on the battlefield. Such sentience, however, had only managed to develop in the last couple they had fought in. Through each, they sustained more and more damage, amounting to the last campaign, where a large majority of them were lost, leaving only K5 and Vex to be chewed out, and in the latter's case: Execution. In a damaged form and unable to resist, let alone speak, K5 was tossed into what might as well have amounted to a scrapyard, deemed a failure by his creators. Here, he would spend another few years, active. Awake. Festering in his thoughts and memories with no hope to get what was owed back to him. However, inevitably, he would find his "salvation", of sorts, being found, recovered and repaired, by the Mecha Factum. Thirsting for revenge and indebted to these rogue machines, K5, or Kive has he would later go by, would dedicate himself into service under their cause.
