Description: DTI MKII "Akaan Gaid" Armor was made expressly for that tank mentality. You want to take alot of hits while the sniper picks off your attacker? This is the armor for you. With full body protection in the form of Durasteel plates and an armorweave body suit, this armored suit is the one for you. Akaan Gaid means War Plate in Mando'a language of Mandalore. This armor is exactly that Armor meant for War. Heavy assault trooper armor made for survivabilty. With durasteel plates covering almost the entire body (Shoulders, chest, upper arms, lower arms, groin, backside, back, thighs (front and back), shins, calves, and feet.) this armor will protect those vital areas of yours. An armorweave body suit adds extra protection against blaster and lightsaber attacks. The durasteel playes are 3/4 inch thick in the front and 1/2 inch thick in the back. The helmet is 1/2 inch thick durasteel with a 1/4 inch Photo-reactive Transparisteel visor. That visor is a major weakpoint in the armor, however that visor is rather small causeing the soldier to rely on the built in Battle cameras to give them the 180° field of vision ideal for combat. This Battle camera system is the same used in all of Deathtech Incorperated's armor systems thus it is compatible with all Dti series Data storage devices.
