ADVANCED SYSTEMS

STRENGTHS

  • Corplast Hull: Having had the Coreplast hull added as. Greatly increases the ships survivability in combat & reduces internal losses.
  • No Blind Spots: The Impetum was created as a smaller version of the Cynosure Nidus. Covering all angles with sufficient firepower
  • Double Bridge: Like the Cynosure Nidus the Impetum has a bridge along with a second one deep inside the ship.
  • Greater Weight: Larger mass means enemy ships will have a harder time ramming it or pushing the Impetum out of the way.
WEAKNESSES

  • Lacks Conflux: Unable to bring all of it's weapons to bear on a single target
  • No Base Delta Zero: Unable to base delta zero with the same amount of ships of it size due to being unable to bring all weapons to bear.
  • Greater Weight: The ship weighs a lot more than its previous version, not maneuvering quite as fast.
DESCRIPTION

Having the initial version of Impetum working in war fleets to great success Du'thra Engineering was working on a modest future design improvement. That was thrown out the window when the Tingle Arm Coalition attacked the Empire of the Lost at Dac having the six Impetum present enter heavy combat. The data gleaned from this engagement along with having Illithor Du'thra aboard Darth Rasnuhl's Flagship witnessing, and feeling some of the action painted a more aggressive picture. The ships survived due to their robust design and double bridge, but their endurance was sorely tested by the well armed and unconventional foe. Leading to an immediate message from Illithor to the design team to start working while the battle was still going on.

Illithor and the design team set to work on the next version of the Impetum, the war retrofit. With collaboration from Werr Drive Yards & Tel'alith Labs the Corplast hull technology was incorporated to give a durability leg up on their enemies. Working on upgrading systems from core outwards the team gave a massive upgrade to energy production, durability, and to firepower. Using new contacts to acquire materials the team replaced the large in size power core for a safer smaller and more powerful one to keep internal usable space somewhat close for the previous ship systems. Giving an overhaul from end to end and inside out the new Impetum is a bit slower to do some things than its predecessor, but the shear power and fire power increase was worth the effort. Especially to Darth Rasnuhl since he was eager to show his part of the Empire could shore up the rest after the near disaster of the Tingle Arm Coalition surprise attack. Like its predecessor the ship could be configured to carry all droids leading to a 100,000 droid army bring carried instead of the 16,000 organic soldiers.

Nicely made.
  • Would you be so kind to link the exact post where you get the permission from Mel and Credius? You only linked their storefront, but not where you asked and got the permissions.
  • However with the new rules, it can't be Minor. I would like to ask you to modify the production scale or the rating:
    6. Extreme ratings require justification and elaboration in the main body of the submission.
