Intent: a clever, but gorgeous evening gown that is also unobtrusive body armour, fit for a Hapan nobewoman who has to deal with the possibility of assassination attempts all the time.

Description: This gorgeous, eye catching evening gown was commissioned by the Ducha of Gallinore personally, custom fit to her exact measurements. Being made of expensive Shell Spider silk with a thin lining of fine Lashaa Silk underneath, it was also meant to protect the Ducha from an assassin's vibroblade or blaster in places where she might be momentarily vulnerable to attack. Pure white in colour, it accents her fair skin, deep blue eyes, and red-blonde hair well and passes extremely well as just an ordinary, albeit very expensive, garment any self-respecting noblewoman would wear at a fancy party or perhaps just to flaunt her wealth and style. It would take an expert, such as a seasoned fabrics professional, a high-end fashion artist, or perhaps a knowledgeable arachnologist to tell the true nature of the luxurious silk fabric. While it certainly would prevent grievous injury from common assassins' weapons, the dress is not bulky nor terribly heavy. As a result, the wearer will most likely survive an attack with blunt-force trauma and bruising to deal with instead and with perhaps some dry-cleaning and minor tailor's work, the dress will also survive to be worn to another lavish dinner party. This dress is two-of a kind and identical, one made for each of the Zhan twins.
Warning note discretely packaged with the dress: "This garment will not save you from a lightsabre, flamethrower, explosives, or certain slugthrower ammunition types.
