Duel on Chazwa

So [member="Darth Odium"] and I will be clashing with each other on the Republic world of Chazwa, its capital. I would like to elaborate on the why of both the conflict between the two and the location of the duel to begin with below. As this is a public thread (it will be) it is open to onlookers, interlopers, whoever. Hell, a duel between two masters of the force could very well be interrupted by the Republic in which it takes place (not that I'd recommend such, but it's your lives and civilians to risk there).

As many people are aware, Braith Achlys and Corvus Raaf were in a very close and pretty fast-moving relationship. As many more are probably aware, Corvus recently left the boards, and without leaving many explanations for what should be done IC. I will be taking the liberty to simply declare her character missing without leaving any reason why or where she may gone being left behind. Braith, being an irrational wreck, has decided that her disappearance and the issues the Republic officials in the past have had with the split of the Jedi order with the Republic government are not so coincidentally close in time.

A bit of time has passed between her initial disappearance and now, her arriving on Chazwa, and between then and now she has returned to the dark side that Corvus had lured her out of originally. Odium has his own reasons for being here, but the idea is that the two will inadvertently confront the other and it will lead to a duel that propels Braith straight to hate.

Oh, and destruction of the Republic Capital.

And your duel wouldn't cause destruction of the capital. It's already got a lot of damage from other attacks

No, it isn't - but it's the capital of the government which Corvus used to serve. She had the order split from the Republic, and just a few weeks later she disappears without a trace. Coincidence?

I can see your point, but still, the timeline is a bit messed up. Not blaming you for that of course And during times of war it isn't that easy for ships to just fly into enemy territory, especially the Capital without getting stopped before reaching landfall. But I could be overthinking it

Needless to say, having the duel there won't further the story much as the answers that she seeks does not lay within the Capital, nor with the people there. She would have to widen her search

I don't quite think you understand that Braith was never an enemy to the Republic - not until Corvus left at any rate. That still isn't exactly a decided thing, either. The Sith Lord tag is purely for reflection of force alignment, she isn't a member of any Sith Order, One Sith or otherwise.
