[Duel] What the Hoth

[Nellja]

Hoth.

As cold and barren as most people saw it, Nellja loved the cold. Her species loved it. The near-human Jedi Padawan stepped into an old, ruined tunnel of underground buildings from an era long ago. She sighed, looking around, and placed her hands on her hips. Two lightsaber hilts hung on her belt. Another was hidden up her sleeves.

Nellja stepped into the ruins, thriving in the cold, and waited...

It was Fething cold out.

Though, I could deal with it. With simple heating of my body, and the Sith poisons that ran in my veins I would stay warm for long periods of time even in the most coldest of places. Smiling as I was standing in the ruins of the Old Hoth Rebel base that had been caved in after years of being left, I looked as I heard boots behind me, seeing a woman with lightsabers on her hips. She clearly was not here to search for things.

Standing up from the ruins of a blaster rifle, I looked at her, "And may I help you Miss?"

Nellja's eyes widened with shock at the man with the blaster. "Uhhh... No?"

Nellja blinked, one hand falling off her hip, she lazily flung it, "Why?" She was curious about this guy, but nothing else really caught her interest much.

I shook my head as clearly she did not think that everybody would hang out at old places. "Because usually I am alone when I am looking for relics" I turned my whole boy to her. Exposing my left arm was that a creation of with poison.

I wondered how should could have not felt the huge amount of force potential that I had. "and who are you?"

Nellja lifted her arms, crossing them over her chest as if she was the top person in the galaxy. Hips to the side, the girl tipped her head, "Nellja. Jedi Padawan. Came on a whim since I love the 'cold' - which is like, not so cold to me but most people hate it. I like it because of me being the species I am but yeah most people hate it. Did I mention I like the cold? Well, I don't like cold food. Like you open the take out box in the fridge expecting the same yummyness as last night's dinner but it's frozen cold and even the oven can't fix it and it's ruined forever, like"... ...

On and on and on...

As the woman began to speak with such speed, I couldn't even fathom how she could lose her breath. It was like she was talking and breathing in her nose all at the same time.

I shook my head. Eventually she was talking so much that bethought she might explode. Finally I decide to end her speaking. I drew my lightsaber and ignited both ends of the red blades. "Shut up or I will cut your tongue out."

Nellja jumped back when the man drew his lightsaber. "Hey!" She shouted, drawing her own, single blue crystal lightsaber out from her sleeve. She activated it and pointed it at him, "Don't mess with me!"

Nellja had her usual hair style of most of her hair being tied back into a tight bun. There was also some left loose for her Padawan braid. That small bit if hair instantly fell over her, making her a bit less intimidating than what she wanted to be.

I shook my head as she clearly tried to look tough. Bu a blue lightsaber with hair flipping everywhere was not so angry looking. However with my left arm, red double bladed lightsaber, and a huge amount of force potential. I was the scary one here.

"And what will a hair flip and a lightsaber do against me?" my left hand lifted up and the ground shook as a wall of earthen material rose up from behind the woman. "Especally when you have no where to run."

Nellja scoffed at the man's arrogance, "Screw escaping, I can survive in the cold, and the dark!" The girl smirked. She entered an ataru stance, completely at ease of her environment, and then spoke, "I'm not actually the main sub-species of human so do your worst."

Yellow eyes glowed in the dark.

I smiled as the darkness allowed for me to see easier. I had found that my growing of poisons allowed me to see far better than any human ever could. including so much so that I could see somewhat in the darkness. And by somewhat I mean I could see just outlines of people. With the coloration of our three blades glowing, it gave me a very sinister look as my own eyes burned a red color. Literally it may have looked as though my eyes were made of fire and molten rock. She said that she was the Sub species of a human, I just laughed.

"Good for you miss, but I happen to be the Evolution of man." I could feel my anger rising and my blood literally boiling under my skin. A glow in my left arm made itself apparent and seemed to change from an orange to a yellow color. "You should Have not asked for that you queen." my left hand shot out and the ground shook again to bring a series of earthen spikes to come up from the ground.

What did I do wrong?

Nellja was able to see perfectly in the dark. Whenever the spikes came up, Nellja jumped up and away from the two with the aid of the Force. She then threw her lightsaber towards the first two pikes which were close together. The lightsaber cut right through the plain rocks just in time and gave Nellja a safe, solid surface to land on. After landing and taking several moments to find her balance, the girl realized that her blue laser sword had fallen beneath. It was no biggie though, since the girl had two more.

Nellja noted her new opponent in front of her and aimed a strong Force Push at him before asking "Can we not fight? Why are we fighting? Am I that annoying??"

I smiled as the woman evaded my attacks. With her saber cutting the rocks. I only smiled as a force push was sent my way. Simply by raising my hand I sent a force push back. making her attack, null and void. Her asking why we were even fighting made me scoff as I ran to her, "Nope" I threw a fireball at her and then sent a stream of fire to follow it. "I just want you to leave me alone."

Nellja scowled, this guy was stubborn alright ... wait a second, how could he throw a fireball out of the bloom??

Heat was Nellja's greatest enemy. Her species was vulnerable to heat radiation. Too much and she would be cooked to death.

Nellja jumped off from the pikes to the solid, smooth floor, completely dodging it. The girl smirked in her victory then asked, "Well how can I leave you alone when you blocked the entrance?"

I smiled as she dodged the flames. Only asking questions the entire time. Still running towards her, Another row of spikes came up from the ground, only this time, they came from all angles. "Because now I wanna hurt you!" As soon as I said those words. my body became a blur as I launched myself at her swinging a flury of strikes with the intricate form of a double bladed lightsaber.

Nellja's reaction to his reply went unseen, as she smirked when he towards her with a lightsaber. This was where her strengths in combat were. She back flipped, activating her two purple lightsabers in midair. It was a bit too easy for the girl to block the double bladed saber with her duel blading ones. She was applying Shien most of the way, but she suddenly snapped into Niman and turned the attacks on him. She applied various swings and cuts towards him, throwing in small Force pushes here and there as well, hoping she could get a hit.

The thing about a double bladed lightsaber was, that it took little effort to block other lightsabers. Both of her lightsaber forms I did not know, but despite this, I could still combat her. Even as she was turning the tables on me, I stayed calm. My master had taught me that by staying calm and not afraid of the lightsabers, that I would last much longer in a duel. And she thought that she was the only one on the attack, which she was dead wrong.

Even as we were going back and forth, I smiled, it was very apparent that I was dong so with the twirling of my two blades, glowing in the dark along with hers. Suddenly I stopped moving backwards. Not because something was behind me, but because now I was going to fight back. Suddenly a pillar came up behind her, and on both sides of her, making her face me. While my left hand sent a force push. Powerful enough to make her break through the rock.

Okay, this guy was a bit too powerful...

Nellja deactivated her sabers and Force jumped on top of the towers just as he released a Force push which broke the rocks behind it. Neljja's glowing yellow eyes widened... she had to get out of here!

She Force jumped down to the other side and lifted her hands to the sides of her eyes to cover their night vision glow. Just as she raced behind a set of boulders, she threw her sunglasses on the block out her eyes completely. She knew nothing about Force cloak, this was the best she could do to hide. She raced back through her memories of this place for a way out. She briefly threw her sunglasses up so she could see again and, by luck, noted a good sized crack in the walls, just good enough for her to pull herself through. She growled, this was her only chance... she dashed towards it.

She had thrown her sunglasses onto the ground and now had her hands tightly clenching to her twin sabers which were at her side. Soon enough, she was there. She threw herself on the floor and pulled herself through, abandoning the fight completely. Her species' traits allowed her to be extremely flexible, so it only took her several moments to squeeze through. One thing that was bad about her species though... was her vulnerability to light.

Even those short moments in the dark had matched herself better, she was close to blinded by the beams of light coming through from a humongous entryway out of these ruins which lay right in front of her. Eyes squinted, the Padawan raced towards the entrance and soon enough was out. She now wished she had not discarded her sunglasses, they could really help her to see right now. She was still blinking by the time...

Now this was getting interesting. With the glow of my lightsabers, I saw her jump, and jump again only to vanish. I looked for her but didn't see her until she ran across the cave. Seeing that she threw something on the ground, I used the force to grab it as I ran. Not even realizing what it was, I shoved them into my pocket and ran after her. First of all being a male, and having run alot in my lifetime, I easily caught up with her, only for her to go into a crevice in the rocks.

My lightsaber shut off as I reached in after her. Missing her sleeve by a hairs length away. With my rather small body form, I could easily fit in after her. Trying to reach for her once again, I missed. I was getting mad. Racing after her some more. It came to an Exit. She got through quicker than I could and so it was taking me more time. She raced for the exit and as did I.

Only as she was getting through I came after her. Hoping to close her off at some point.
