Duel?

I've never written a duel before, and would be interested in facing off against someone who's well-versed in how they're meant to go. Is a winner pre-determined? Who decides who wins? Most importantly, I've just created a duel-bladed light-amphistaff, and would like to put it to the test. :)

I personally like to fight first - then in mid-battle see how it's going, then choose who wins with the other person.

Everyone can plan it, see if their character crumbles, or discuss for days upon days what justifies as a legal action. It's up to you and the other person.

Oftentimes it depends on the participants as to whether they'd like a pre-determined win or not, but most times things progress organically and the winner is decided through story alone. All you really have to do is communicate with your opponent and write everything fairly, and it's not any more complicated than that. If you have any more questions, I'm happy to help. I've been in more than enough duels to know how they work. :p

[member="Keira Ticon"], since I've just created the weapon, I'm thinking I'll lose, but it'll give me a chance to put it through its paces and start learning how to duel, especially if I can force you to leave before killing me. How'd you like to be poisoned? Because I can do that.
