False.

Duranium is stated to survive "glancing" blows, likewise Armorweave is not lightsaber resistant either. So perhaps you could withstand a single slash, or half a second, but any prolonged contact longer than a second or two would melt through both the armor weave and the Duranium.

limited resistance to lightsaber
The key term there is "limited".

Much like with Duranium armorweave can only withstand glancing blows, not direct contact. Phrik or Beskar can hold against outright strikes of a lightsaber, full on blows. Materials like Armorweave, Duranium, etc can't hold up against solid Lightsaber hits/prolonged contact.

It's not rare or to hard to get, just difficult to shape without specialized equipment. Which means form-fitted armor like gauntlets would be a pain to make but relatively flat strike plates not so much. You also don't see many organics using it for armor because high heat resistance like it exhibits is usually a result of density (densely packed atoms absorb heat energy slower) which translates into weight. I'd also recommend reading the articles of the metals it claims to be stronger than. Transparasteel is said to be much weaker than durasteel (commonly used in strong armor) and bronzium was mostly used for decorative purposes.

All that said, it's still a very solid choice for armor if you dont have the inclination to run a dev thread for something else.
