Durasteel Fist: Galactic Trading Subsection

Wirch Bicket

Prepare for my Arrival...
Corporation Name: Galactic Trade Subsection: Production and Vending Line
Headquarters: Relovian
Locations: Vastitas
Operations: Creating weapons, battle vehicles, and miscellaneous pain-inducing devices for trade with the greater galaxy while trying to gain ties with factions off planet.

Rationale: Wirch is a subordinate of the leader of the company, who in turn is a separate company but answers to the Durasteel Fist Manufacturing. Wirch was promoted to the position due to previous works on the battlefield fighting the Red Strikers. He is the main diplomat between the company and other galactic representatives.

Tier: Tier II

Description:
The Galactic Trade Subsection: Production and Vending Line was originally created when the Durasteel Fist realized that it could not win a war against the Red Strikers without off planet allies. The company is meant to facilitate good relations between galactic factions to ensure the Durasteel Fist's future. At the same time, the leader of the company intends on gaining credits through the sale of unique Relovian technology. The work force is the entire population of Vastitas which are mostly employed in the mines worked mercilessly till they drop. The entire plan of the company is to gain allies and create weapons to outfit their allies to allow the Durasteel Fist to survive an impending war with the Red Strikers.

The company is separate of the Durasteel Fist Manufacturing, which produces the same equipment for planetary trade. However it answers to the Durasteel Fist government. At the same time, the Durasteel Fist requires that the Planetary trade version of the company to check on the Interplanetary trade variant for reasons of security.

Basically yes.

I didn't want to make that company, as Wirch is not in command of it, making it difficult to write out the Rationale section of the format.

If it is a custom company, outside of canon it will need a company submission regardless. You can submit it with a different character, but we don't allow the creation of subsidiaries for a company which does not technically exist at this point. [member="Wirch Bicket"]

Ah, thanks.
I'll set that one up.

Question if you don't mind, for each custom company is it required that the character that submits it has to be in control?

[member="Wirch Bicket"] That's what usually happens, yes. Now, you could say that you could use a NPC for that. But keep in mind, rules aren't there to protect NPCs. So someone could autokill the NPC and then.. things become muddy.

Yah I can see where that would go.

Can I make a character for the sole purpose of being the leader of the company? Or should I try something else?

[member="Wirch Bicket"] Well.. you would need at least 50 posts to be able to submit a submission. So you would be better off to maybe change the concept a bit. Tell me what you would like to do.

Alright, I'll put Wirch as first in command of the company (as I am in a thread that will eventually lead to the takeover of the company). I'll modify the submission so that the company is separate but will stay a Tier II, if it is alright with you.

Okay is that better?
I made some small changes to make it under its own command, while still having strings attached to the other company. But now they are more of equals now.
