- Light as Feather - These swords are made from Songsteel making them a very light weapon.
- Saber Resistance - The Songsteell of the blade is can hold back lightsaber strikes and it has Cortosis weaved into the hilt making the whole weapon able to resist Lightsaber strikes.
- Freezing Touch - The weapon is extremely cold to the touch will zap the warmth out of anybody it touches causing hypothermia like affects.
- Soul Steal - Upon landing what would be a kill or finishing blow/strike the Reaper can take the soul/life essence from person.
- Soul Containment/Release - The Reaper can store/hold the souls/life essences and also release them.
- Force Null - When in a force Null the soul stealing ability does not work and it's cold ability does not work.
- Soul Build Up - To many souls trapped int he sword or souls being trapped in the sword to long can lead to dire consequences.
- Caution Corruption - If the souls captured are not released into the nether or some other containment the corruption can bleed into the wielder of Reaper. Slowly turning them to the Darkside.
- Caution Pain - If the souls are not released into the Nether or some other containment device the wielder and those with in 30m will feel headaches or nausea set in.
- Caution pro Longed Corruption - The wielder will show signs of extreme aggression, fear, paranoia, and negative emotion if the souls are not expelled from the reaper blades.
- Wear Gloves - The weapon Freezing Touch also affects the wielder and one must wear gloves or suffer hypothermia like affects.
- Irreversible Corruption - If the Corruption persists long enough it becomes irreversible and the wielder becomes an Undead wound in the Force a monster of pure corruption.
- Purification - If the blade is some how purified of it's abilities it becomes just a normal songsteel blade and the souls trapped with in are stuck in limbo.
Only two of these Blades are known to exist and are in the hands of Elysium Dusk. How, why, and who forged them is unknown but is known they were forged somewhere in the Kathol Rift most like by The Kathol themselves. The weapon is forged from mostly songsteel though the hilt is obsidian and silver with flecks of Cortosis in it. The Blade on the swords are 104 cm in length (41in). Also do to being made mostly of songsteel the weapon are extremely light in weight.
It is unclear what alchemical process was used in the making of these weapons for their special abilities but is similar to that which made the soulsaber but with built in ways to fight the more insidious corruption methods of that weapon. It was the force called Ta-ree by
Elysium Dusk
that led her to find the weapons in old Temple on Kathol.
