After the Battle of Eshan, Voph remained within CIS space, and sought to consolidate his forces under a single banner. No longer seeking to champion a wide-reaching force, Voph instead turned his focus to a single target: The marauders responsible for the devastation on Eshan. Voph surrendered control of his forces to the Confederacy, and took a temporary position as Fleet Marshal as he prepared his small navy to become a fearsome xeno-hunting task force.
The Battle of Eshan taught Voph a hard lesson: He had no means of implementing air-to-ground without considerable collateral damage. So, he commissioned a new breed of fighter to fix this problem. The DX-25 Thranta was introduced as the Octarchy's De Facto air support. With dual turrets mounted to the bottom and a repulsor system to keep the ship aloft, the Thranta was designed to provide close fire support with minimal Collateral Damage.
