- Molecular Shield: The Molecular shield absorbs energy based weaponry, and redirects it to the Reaper's own weapons
- Astromech Port: The Reaper ships are designed to fly with an Astromech co-pilot
- Phrik Hull: If the shield fails, the ship still maintains impressive hull armoring.
- Expensive: The Reaper is a state of the art vessel, and is quite expensive to repair or replace
- Low Speed: The Reaper is built for firepower, not speed. As such, certain targets may be able to outrun it.
After the Battle of Eshan, Voph remained within CIS space, and sought to consolidate his forces under a single banner. No longer seeking to champion a wide-reaching force, Voph instead turned his focus to a single target: The marauders responsible for the devastation on Eshan. Voph surrendered control of his forces to the Confederacy, and took a temporary position as Fleet Marshal as he prepared his small navy to become a fearsome xeno-hunting task force.
Reaper Squadron was established by veterans of the Battle of Eshan, to be the flagship squadron of the Octarchy Covenant. The Reaper ship, named for the squadron they were commissioned for, was designed to have superior firepower over other vessels. The Reaper is not the fastest ship, but what it lacks in speed, it makes up for in defense and agility. An impressive ship in the hands of a trained pilot, and a force to be reckoned with in the hands of an elite.
