Dysfunction? I Call it Organized Chaos! (Organa Family Members

Location: Aldera Castle

Filling a small glass with whiskey The Elder Kashi was waiting in the parlor. [member="Arianna Organa"] had arranged this family dinner night. It had been some time since the family gathered. Arianna still had yet to meet [member="Muad Dib"]. So the Elder was waiting for the family to show up.

Dinner as family this should be interesting. She looked over at Draco, "I understand that Laira and Theo will be here." She laughed, it was hard to know where her children were anymore.

Her heart ached still for one. But she didn't focus on that that was her burden to bear.

"So no fighting with my mother tonight, ok Drahr?" She smiled hoping that he wouldn't but somehow the two of them were like oil and water always separate and on a constant battle.

It was crazy

"Yeah, the twins are gonna show up at one point or another. At least that's what they said." Sometimes Laira and Theo were hard to keep track of, sometimes they wandered off and left their commitments behind, but they were teenagers, and such was the behavior of teenagers. They were good kids and good folks, but sometimes they rebelled and ran off to do their own things.

The big man pursed his lips, "I make no promises about getting into it with her, but I won't start nothin." He grinned down at Faith. Normally Arianna and Draco didn't get a long very well, always snarky with one another. Part of it stemmed from their early relationship in which Draco felt he had to fight and struggle for acknowledgement and acceptance into the family, and that had just kept steaming and boiling over the next few years. At this point Draco was content to let the former Queen think whatever she wanted to of him, he would continue to enjoy his lavish retirement.

"So, who all is supposed to be joining us?"

"Last I knew was mother, father, the kids, Bella and Muadie. Garith is off on retreat. I'm not sure what the subject is for tonight only we were requested to be there." Faith sometimes felt like she was her mother's subject not so much her daughter. She was ordered about and demanded on que to be in places when her mother called for her.

"Have you had any time to spend with my father?" She had little time with her father so..she wasn't sure about all of this...maybe she needed to take him to the Vinerium. They could check it out.

"Well it must be important then or she wouldn't have requested me." Draco grinned, it wasn't that bad with Arianna, just a butting of heads ever since they first met under the most unfortunate of circumstances. Draco didn't resent or hate the woman, he just remembered how she had treated Faith and how her judgment had almost landed Faith in the arms of a heartless man instead of his own. If the big man were being honest, given his own reputation at the time and the Duke of Vena's, he wouldn't have been his own first choice.

"I met your father at the last gather. Before I got a little drunk and lost focus on what was going on." At the Mountain Palace Faith had held an elaborate gala with an open bar, and Draco had several drinks and had intended to link up with Faith in a couple of ways, only to discover that her father had recently returned from exile which put an end to Faith's desire to assist in his plans.

"So, I finally get to see Arianna open up into someone other than me." His tone was jovial and teasing, but he was kinda hoping to see someone else be the subject of his Mother-in-Law's ire.
