Early September News
First things first, [member="Darth Venefica"] has stepped down from her position as Faction Admin. Darth Venefica has been with us for a long while and has helped on numerous fronts to lead the One Sith to where it is now. She has stepped down to pursue the future of the faction, the Covenant of the Black Rose. We thank her for her assistance and wish her best of luck with her faction, which has stepped away from the One Sith and is no longer a sub faction. Once again, we wish the Black Rose nothing but good luck in their future endeavors. Stepping into the position of moderator for the faction, we want to congratulate [member="Darth Pyrrhus"]. We expect great things from this individual and if you have any questions regarding masters/apprentices/training, please let him know.[member="Darth Ferus"] has been promoted to the position of Shadow of the Dark Lord. The Shadow is a modified position, similar to the Hand, that is the honorary title given to the leader of the Sith Assassins. While Darth Ferus was originally the Hand, and this is more or less a horizontal movement of title, it's worth mentioning the hard work of the Assassins. For those who don't know, [member="Darth Ophidia"] assassinated the king of Onderon and made an attempt on the life of a Galactic Republic Senator, [member="Cecily de Demici"]. Segueing into that topic, we would like to announce our members of the month.
For August, we want to congratulate Darth Ophidia for being the One Sith member of the month. As reward, we are providing bling and the reward of the Tsaisibolas - The Baton of Silence.
For September, we want to congratulate [member="Setzi Lunelle"] for being the One Sith member of the month. As reward, we are providing bling and the reward of The Blade of Satvas. Thank you both for your hard work for the One Sith.
We will continue this tradition on a monthly basis, look for the next member of the month come October.
We have two recent posts that are worth looking into. First and foremost, the One Sith is considering implementing an elected body of officials that will act in similar fashion to a Senate. If you have strong opinions or are interested, please politely join the discussion here. Second, we have implemented a suggestion box. Please go there and offer any feedback that you think would help the faction run more smoothly.
We currently have three active dominions:
- First annual Dave Benefit Concert - A misfortune for sure, the slaughtering of Dave on Coruscant by the Rebel Alliance. Please come to celebrate his life, mourn his death, or just enjoy some libation. (Marna, about half way through)
- Floyd Mayferria vs OS - Dominion of Mayferria, almost complete. Thank you for everyone who has taken the time to participate.
- What's that coming over the Hill? - Dominion of Gratos. Over 3/4 complete, come seek out the Graug or just go treasure hunting.
