A weapon given its name due to the effects it had on the ground when the massive emplacement opened fire. It utilized the new ion cell, coupled with cutting edge biotechnology. The cannon was perfectly designed to defend vital worlds and locations. Its power was great enough to handle most sizes of capital ships. Once it was tested the weapon was approved for deployment across selective worlds.
