Echani Versus Zeltron

[member="Simone"]

Cai walked into the room on Anaxes. He didn't like the planet, but he was asked for. A favor for a favor for a friend of a friend. It was all very confusing but such things were common when dealing with a squib. To them a negotiation was the highest form of conversation and a deal was made sweeter by how many people you could involve in it. Cai thought it was all meant to just confuse their adversary in the bargain, but Cai had promised the little creature a favor and this was it.

He took a deep breath and thought of the last Holovid he'd watched. It didn't apply to this situation at all. Cai was supposed to teach some reporter how to defend herself again, what? Criminals? There was plenty of them about. Sith? That seemed unlikely.

He looked about the room, it was prepared well for him. Spartan with padded floor and walls. Basic equipment was lined in the area. Cai narrowed his eyes looking around. On short notice it was a nice facility. Abandoned some years ago he was told, but refurbished by his Squib friend for a client that didn't pay up. He then made a deal with Cai to trade self defense lessons for some classic and vintage holovids. There was one about the Sith Wars. "If you don't get on that shuttle you'll regret it," he said to the mirror lining one of the walls. "Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life..."

It was a classic. He smiled a bit at himself in the mirror and laughed at the private joke made blatantly public by his performance....

War ripped through the deep core as Sith tried their best to tear the Republic a new one. It would have been nice to say the were failing, but thus far, they had won two out of three battles. Simone wanted to help her people, but the best help she could give so far was tightening security around computers. She's set down her holocam and put her reporting days on hold and she wanted to increase her chances of being valuable to the Republic battle front.

Enter the idea of getting some combat skills, self defense, how to shoot a blaster, that sort of nonsense. Every little helped right? She pulled up a few names, threw out a hnadful of request and someone came back with this friend of a friend. Overly complex, but she hoped it would get her what she wanted. Leaning against the door frame, Simone watched her would be teacher from his blind spot. She chuckled "We'll always have Anaxes..." she responded, giving away her position and moving into the room. Loose pants, soft shoes and a crop top adorned the slender pink skinned zeltron. She dropped a bag at the edge of the room and moved to greet him.

"Cai, right?" she checked before offering her hand "I'm Simone."

Cai turned around to greet the woman with a smile on his face. That smile turned into a smirk as [member="Simone"] spoke. "A pleasure to meet you," he said stripping off his robes and shirt. IT was the Echani way to fight with as little on as possible. Pretty soon he was standing there nearly naked. He walked up to the woman and accepted her hand, his pose shifting slightly. His leg stiffed in the back and his shoulder loosened ready to move. "I will not throw you." Tense corded muscles relaxed as he gave her hand a few shakes. "Although I was tempted to do so. I telegraphed my intent with my body." He released her hand. "It is plain for us Echani, body language is used for us to communicate nearly as much as talking. You are not Echani and so I forgive you for not understanding."

Standing still he looked the woman over, "Now I'd like you to hit me squarely in the chest." His hands stayed at his side, his feet refused to budge. "As hard as you can if you'd please."

Simone lost focus as the ehcani stripped to reveal a ripped body beneath. The temperature in the room suddenly increased and she found herself fighting against a stupid grin as he shook her hand. Keep it together, Simone. Whatever body language Cai had shown was utterly lost on her, having never been in a fight in her life she was as blank as a slate could get as far as fighting was concerned. "Hmmm?" she replied somewhat confused, her mind still on those abs....

"What?" she asked, shaking herself mentally as he gave her an instruction. "I'm sorry I wasn't listening. Are you gonna be half naked for all our lessons? Because If you are, I might have a problem focusing."

There was that grin.

[member="Cai Sanis"]

Cai sighed at [member="Simone"] before quirking an eyebrow and giving her an appraising glance."It has its advantages," he said clearly, "especialy in training. This way I can show you more clearly exactly how the movements work." Yes he would have to worry about this one. Aside from the Zeltrons appearance there was also her species pheromones and mental empathy to be concerned with. His job was to teach her and not to...

Concentrate, Cai said to himself ignoring the inner monologue in his head. What would a Holovid hero do? Well he's get the girl of course, but that wasn't his objective right now. "So yes, I'll be like this the entire time." he finished explaining. "Now if you'd kindly hit me..."

Simone cleared her throat and tilted her head in acknowledgement. Half naked all the time? Fine by her. The sensible part of her brain gave her a mental kick. She was here to learn, she wasn't going to learn anything by flirting...was she?

Focus!

She obeyed, finally striking a punch for that tasty chest of his.

[member="Cai Sanis"]

Cai stood and took [member="Simone"]'s punch to the chest. It wasn't a particularly strong punch, but still required him to take a step back or else perhaps fall. It was good enough for a first punch he supposed, although he couldn't remember his first punch he imagined it was somewhat as infective as this one, although he would have been a toddler. He'd definitely seen worse in random bar fights or from white collar criminals he'd arrested in his time. "So, your form." he said reaching out and pulling her arm straight with her fist held out. He manipulated her fingers with his hand putting them into the proper position for a proper punch. "Never put your thumb inside your fist. You'll break it."

Then he said, "Don't let me move your arm." Cupping his hand over her outstretched fist he yanked and pulled and moved her arm around with little effort. "Your elbow, point it down." From her fist to her elbow he moved his hand over her flesh and then pushed her cocked elbow out to point down. "Now don't let me move your arm," he said before starting again. Her arm barely moved and she was able to stop him. "See? It's stronger that way..."

Simone did her best to focus, to take in what was being said and ignoring the little skips her heart was doing when he touched her. Gods she needed to get a hold of herself, if she went giddy every time a man touched her she'd get nowhere fast. Maybe it was a sign she needed to deal with her primal needs, she'd put off dating for so long... Another mental shake and she came back to the room, to being shook by Cai with ease.

She giggled then cupped her hand over her mouth as a inappropriate thought trailed across her mind. "Sorry." she said shaking her head "I swear I'm taking this seriously."

[member="Cai Sanis"]

As Cai touched [member="Simone"] he felt, saw, her body move. Subtle motions revealed her thoughts to him, and he blushed a little. The attraction was mutual, why wouldn't it be, she was a cute red girl. "Its okay," Cai said, his body shifting a little. He took a deep breath, "A little fun never hurt anyone." Positioning his body in front of hers he took up a pose and signaled for her to copy. He moved around her and changed her footing with his . "Now lets try hitting me in the chest again."

He stepped back and put his hands to his side again... "right square in the chest."

Simone caught sight of his flushing cheeks and a mischievous part of her wanted very much to play on this. Maybe she would, but to do so early on would take almost all the fun out of it and lets face it, she would be back for plenty more lessons, even if it was just to brawl with a half naked man... she caught her trailing thoughts once more before they got out of hand. She took up the pose he instructed her too, recalling the form of her fist, elbow pointed down.

She struck at his chest again.

[member="Cai Sanis"]

Cai moved with lightning speed and reflex. It wasn't that he could move so fast because he was a Jedi, but rather he could move so fast because he had been moving this way since he could walk. He stepped into the punch and raised his hand getting up close face to face with the woman in an instant. His arm pulled her punch aside as his hand grabbed her wrist. "Better," he said. "But you will need to learn not to telegraph."

Letting go of her wrist he stepped back and took up a similar pose. "Many do it instinctivly, it is something you must be broken of." As he stood in the pose he punched into the air without warning, quick and efficiently. "You pulled back your arm a little before punching." he showed her the motion. "If you do that, people can tell the strike is coming and block as I did."

The speed of reaction was unbelievable, and she uttered a whispered curse. Then Cai was incredibly close to he and all of a sudden the room got warm again, but this time Simone remained focused, mainly because she was interested in what was being said.

"If I don't pull back then how do i get the momentum to hit you?"

[member="Cai Sanis"]

"You don't, not yet." Cai said. He wrapped an arm around her hip and turned her around. He pointed over to a heavy bag and nodded, "Until you strengthen your arms, your muscles. Learn the movements, practice them and then hit a bad. You will get the strength you need." He walked over to the bag and held onto it. "Make sure when you punch the bag, to strike with your top two knuckles." he held out his fist, "otherwise its going to hurt, and maybe leave a bruise." Or break her fingers, but he doubted she had enough force behind her blows to do that yet.

A smirk found its way to her lips as he took her hips and turned her to face the bag hanging form the ceiling. She leaned into him ever so slightly head turned to look at his face rather than the bag. Then he was away from her and she let out a silent sigh, following him to the bag, she gave it to very gentle punches,testing the information she was given, feeling the movement before attempting to put any power behind the strikes.

Taking the stance he'd shown her moments ago, she offered him another playful smile. "See now, this is where I lose interest because you're hiding those abs of yours behind a punch bag."

[member="Cai Sanis"]

Cai returned the smile as he held the bag firmly against her little playful punches. "I promise I'll give you a show, if you just hit the bloody bag."

And so the rest of the session went with [member="Simone"] striking the bag until she was working up a sweat. Cai called out encouragement to which the woman almost constantly replied in a flirty way. Within an hour she was exhausted, muscles sore and knuckles red. Every little mistake she had made bruised the bottom knuckles and the little jolts of pain reminded her to keep in form. It was a common enough teaching method. Cai took up her hand as the first lesson ended. "You shouldn't need bacta, it wasn't a canvas bag." Canvas bags cut the hands if you punched at them without gloves. No, leather was the superior option. He held her hand in his and examined each knuckle, spreading her fingers with his and gently rubbing over the bruised areas. He was never any real good at force healing but insisted on trying what Boloon had once taught him letting the force through through his hand into the womans. It wasn't enough to heal broken bones but to soothe the pain from bruises, sure. "Next session it should be fine, if its not, we'll try some open handed techniques."

For Simone to say she didn't hurt would have been a lie, she ached, but she did her best to cover it up. When Cai took her hands she smiled as he began to ease the pain. The wonder of the force was something Simone would never be able to grasp, she wasn't entirely sure if she'd want to either.

"So is this how its gonna be?" she asked looking up from her hands at Cai's face. she really should crank down the level of flirting going on here, but she simply couldn't help herself. With and attractive guy like this so up close and personal, it was only natural for her to flirt outrageously. She was, after all, a zeltron. "You work me till I hurt, then rub it better?"

She closed her eyes realizing what she'd said. "That was...really bad. I'm sorry...I um...I should probably go."

Yet she made no move to tug her hands away from him.

[member="Cai Sanis"]

Laughing to ease the tension Cai smiled at the young woman. Hei stopped rubbing on her hands and instead held them in his own grip. She was sure a flirty lady. And then the two of them stood there for a moment before Cai reluctantly released her hands. "No, it's alright," he said with a twinge of embarrassment. His skin flushed the color of hers briefly. He walked over to his clothing picked up his robes and pulled them over his head. "We both have things to do." He wanted to let out a big sigh, but refused. "I'd like to meet you here again tomorrow. If that is alright with you."

"Right," said Simone mentally kicking herself as he let go of her hands and walked away "of course. You've got Jedi stuff to do and I am pretty sure there's a database somewhere that needs its security upgrading." She moved to her bag, pulling free a hooded top that she pulled over her head. "Same time tomorrow then?" she flashed him a flirty smile and slipped out of the room.

Weeks went on, and the training progressed and intensified. Though she was certain that she was coming away more bruised with each session she was improving week by week. Her flirting did not stop, oh she might have toned it down slightly, but stopping entirely was simply impossible. She was only zeltron after all. Another day and another session, only she was running late.

Running through the corridors to get to the training room she burst through the door and almost thre her bag into the corner. "I'm so sorry." she started explaining pulling off her top to reveal the crop top beneath. She pulled a hair tie from her wrist and pulled her hair away from her face. "Meeting with the G.I.A overran."

[member="Cai Sanis"]

Cai smiled at the woman's approach. More and more he was finding himself enjoying the little training sessions. The physical activity, the sparing, the flirting; he looked forward to all of it. "It's alright," he said in reply to the woman. "I understand how these things go." Cai once did clandestine operations. "Words instead of deeds." Letting out a little sigh he frowned. There was much in the galaxy he didn't like and politics, especially those that pertained to matters of security, was one of them. "I once worked security. Catching criminals, breaking up pirate rings. That sort of thing. There is a bureaucratic process involved that I found most unappealing."
