ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
- Durable: These rescue vessels were designed to take a hit and keep moving forward. Which helps increase their effectiveness when dropping into a warzone or disaster zone.
- Moving medical bay: From bacta tanks to surgical tools, these vessels carry everything needed to save lives in a crisis.
- Escaped pod/rescue boom: These rescue vessels are equipped with four boom arms that can grab escaped pods or small vessels in order to perform rescues.
- Not a warship: Despite its defenses and modest armament, these vessels were never designed to fight other ships. Instead serving their purpose as rescue vessels.
Uncertain times have fallen on the galaxy. War rages in nearly every corner and those trying to flee to safety sometimes find themselves in the path of destruction. In most conflicts, ships and stations are the first to meet this growing choas, with a growing number of them being civilian owned. A dire need for rescue vessels has grown drastically in a short time. The Edona class rescue vessel was built to help with this growing need. A fast vessel for its size, with large holding areas for evacuations, multiple med bays for the injured and specialized equipment to make rescues in zero atmosphere situations. Four extendable boom arms can grab ahold of escape pods or small vessels. Specialized equipment allows for it to attachment to a wide array of large ships and stations to allow rescue teams quick access. The Edona's are also well armored to take a beating in hostile situations, which comes in handy given the areas it travels to.
