Dear Supreme Chancellor,
Effective immediately, I hereby resign position as Chairman of the Security Council. With the events transpiring on my homeworld and my inability to effectively keep the people within the Republic safe at this time after repeatedly failures, I am unable to focus on the task I was assigned by the good people of the Republic and by your own hand.
It's with sorrow that this must be done, but it is done.
You will find all security protocols in-tact and nothing has been tampered with by my resignation.
I will ensure that the first shipments of the Stealth-X fighters be delivered to the Republic soon, until then, I take leave.
If you accept this resignation, please let me know. Until then, I will attempt to fulfill my duties as requested.

OOC - I have resigned as Faction Administrator for the Republic. You guys are in good hands and good things in place to keep you going in the right direction. However, this is mostly an OOC notice, leaving an IC option for Popo to pull Alyesa back into the fold if he so chooses. It's for reasons of my own and not because of others.
