- Horus FCP HUD Package, a comprehensive top quality multi-spectrum HUD and targeting system, coms package and ECCM, Electronic Counter-Countermeasure. The Hud's Scylla-AI Allows for operational interlinking with other Scylla AI's in the field
- Bossy R-Bos1 rebreather with 4 days air supply and dual filtration system to remove toxins or contaminants.
- Modular attachment slots on the wrists, shoulders, boots and gloves. Allowing mounting weapons on the suit. These are directly accessibly by the Horus FCP HUD.
- Small Ionization Buffers mounted on the legs help resist some ion discharge and rubber helps insulate against electrical attack.
- PLA-CORR Coating and Finish 50% Anti-Corr and 50% Plasteel. Offering superior resistance to weathering the natural elements, scratch resistance and keeping a shine.
- Strong against force users. High electrical protection and very high lightsaber resistance.
- Somewhat strong to standard damage types, Kinetic, Ion, and Energy. High Ion resistance partially shields the HUD's vulnerabilities to Ion weapons.
- Very effective HUD and rebreather systems giving significant operational advantages.
- Very heavy and difficult to move quickly in. It will slow the user quite a lot.
- Weak to cold or freezing weaponry. Like Cyromancer force users or Carbonite weapons and grenades.
- Difficult to maintain and expensive to buy. The suit itself is top of the line but this model is prone to the TM1 alloy needing minor repair in extended use. On top of that the materials are expensive as Madilon cannot be synthesized, only mined, meaning sourcing those repairs is difficult.
A very robust armor usually given on high risk assignments to Senior Triad operatives. As the Triads reassert themselves in the rim after a brief period of decline, it has been noted that a handful of affiliates in high risk postings require an armor capable of handling meddlesome force users. While you are out handling your business you can do so in comfort, because a generous amount of comfortable leather lines the inside of the suit, offering a nicer fit than many others would.
The TM1 Alloy is the second use of the compound, reportedly the formula was stolen from Khagnate laboratories by Triad sleeper agents. As such they haven't yet perfected their new find. This particular model can be prone to needing minor and expensive repair in extended use.
Of note the Horus HUD is a great feature of this armor and it has partial protection from the suits ion resistance. Importantly the Scylla AI is also present in the HUD to interface with other Scylla AI interlinked systems. Ionization buffers on the suits legs help weaken ion attack on the user but these are not particularly large and won't last long. The HUD interfaces with the optional armor mounts allowing additional weapons or tools to be carried by the user, though they will soon be reminded they are already in a heavy suit.
It isn't a bulky design but it is a heavy one. The user will get slowed down noticeably in this armor when trying to run on foot. When we tried to interview an FFE weapon tech for comment, they were elated and told us they'd only lost three technicians testing the armor. It was that good that they had shot four more people as a control group to be sure the test was accurate.
We say with quality testing assurance like that, what more can you ask for!
