  • Classification: Biological
  • Size: Large
  • Weight: Average
  • Explosive Type: None
  • Delivery Method: Self-Propelled
  • Effective Range: Average
  • Area Of Effect: Large
  • Stopping Power: Very High
Special.png

  • Biological Warfare: Instead of a missile loaded with explosive, this missile is loaded with EM VI and enough biomass to get the spread started. If contacted by enemy forces of the living variety, or other biomass, the molecule will consume it and spread.
  • Penetrator Round: The missile is designed to penetrate the hull of a ship and lodge itself in the opening to keep it sealed against vacuum.
  • Reflec Coating: The missile is coated in reflec in order to make it harder to spot and shoot down.
Strengths.png

  • The agent has a large area of effect and a very high stopping power as it will devour anything biological it contacts and spread accordingly.
  • Since the missile is coated in reflec, it's harder to shoot down than other missiles.
Weaknesses.png

  • The released agent can be stopped with explosives and fire.
  • The released agent can be starved out by condoning off the area it is within and not allowing it to expand/not feeding it.
Description.png

While the VI molecule was created for the purpose of keeping a ship together, it is impossible to ignore the offensive potential it possesses as well. As a result, a missile was developed that could introduce the molecule to a hostile ship and help to take it out from within. Designed to penetrate the outer hull of a ship and seal the gap, the missile contains five compartments. Two of the compartments are occupied by the fuel supply and engine. The front compartment is designed to release upon imbedment and contains the guidance systems of the missile. The remaining two compartments contain a sample of the VI molecule, and a source of biomass for its consumption. Upon impact with an enemy vessel, the barrier between the biomass and VI molecule shatters, allowing the molecule to devour the biomass and expand. To allow the molecule to expand outside of the missile, the front compartment is designed with a tiny amount of explosive, just to pop itself off and open the two compartments inside to the air of the vessel it has struck. The intent is to devour a ship from within. Such ships, if they fall victim to the molecule in entirety, are generally deemed unsafe for salvage.
