Strengths:
- The Eightgun is, as its name implies, a fighter with eight guns. This provides it with an immense amount of firepower, capable of shredding even super-heavy bombers with little effort.
- In contrast to most Sith fighters, the Eightgun fits a hyperdrive, allowing squadrons to operate with reasonable independence from their ships.
- The Eightgun, being an assault fighter, significantly lacks in maneuverability. While this isn't an issue when dealing with bombers and other heavy fighters, it leaves the Eightgun extremely vulnerable to dogfights against more maneuverable craft.
- The Eightgun lacks in ordnance, carrying at its max four missiles. This gives it minimal capability of dealing with interceptors and other lighter fighters before they get into dogfighting range.
