WEIGHT: 225 lbs

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Kad's Disciple: -Being raised by the Priests of Harang'ir has its perks. Eldric has trained with beskad and the art of combat in general since he was old enough to walk. His skills as a swordsman and a melee combatant are both brutal and efficient, hinting at a savagery not evidenced by his modest demeanor.
Grappler: -Besides his skill with bladed weapons, the former Initiate shows great promise in his practice of Stava, a form of martial arts that relies heavily on knee and elbow strikes coupled with high-pressure grappling and joint-locks. Even among the deadly Priesthood, Eldric's ability to read his opponent and seek out new avenues of victory was peerless.
Indomitable: -While his faith in Kad was ultimately shaken enough to see him cast from the Order, Eldric's trust in his people and his determination to serve are rock solid. Not only does he possess great mental fortitude, but his training and conditioning at the hands of the Blood Matrons have heightened his pain tolerance to extreme levels. He is a fortress, assailable but indomitable.
Deadeye-in-his-dreams: -Trained almost exclusively with bladed weapons and hand-to-hand combat, his skill with a rifle and ranged weaponry in general has suffered greatly. While he can (usually) hit a target's center mass, small or moving targets prove a great challenge. A sniper he will never be, instead choosing to rely on volume rather than accuracy to put down his enemies.
Lost sheep: -Committed to the Resol'nare, there nonetheless exists a sense of desperation within him. He has been cast adrift by the loss of his faith, and finding a new path will be difficult. Slow to make both friends and decisions, Eldric is possessed of a temperament poorly suited to garnering trust- but very good at earning his companion's ire.
Wear the armor: -Priests train without armor, never donning their gam until they've completed their Rites. Even then, most wear stripped-down versions, and so Eldric's training has always centered on agility and maneuverability. Once he joined the military, where shrapnel is more likely to kill you than a lost duel, he was forced to suit up despite his reservations. Unused to the weight, his clumsiness and discomfort are obvious and inhibiting.
APPEARANCE:
-Tall and sturdy despite his young age, he sports skin tanned by long hours training under Concord Dawn's sun. His hard, angular features are spattered with freckles, and his brown hair is shaved into a strip. White scars criss-cross his arms, legs, and torso- mementos from countless sparring sessions- but he lacks the brutal mutilations common to the Priests who completed their Rites of Passage.
His durasteel gam is scratched and pitted- an obvious hand me down, though from who he couldn't say, and whatever paint it might have sported has long since worn away.
BIOGRAPHY:
-Eldric was given to Kad at birth, taken into the temple on Concord Dawn to be raised as a Priest of the Destroyer God. His entire life consisted of endless training in the art of slaughter. At the feet of great battlemasters like Darian Bev'iin and Trull Ordo, he learned the Old Ways. Teachings long forgotten, from a God barely remembered. But as he grew into a man and a warrior, so to could he feel an emptiness growing within him. A hollow place that faith couldn't fill.
Despite the reassurances of his Elders and his own determination to do Kad's work, when the time came for him to perform his Rites of Passage, he found himself unable. How could he fulfill such a sacred vow, to pledge his life and his soul to a God he wasn't sure existed? The ritual knife was cast down, and Eldric was cast out, to search for meaning among his people, and a new purpose to fill that hollow place.
