Appearance:
Elena takes after her Aunt Madelyn more than her mother, being of average height with bright blonde hair and sharp facial features. She has a youthful and lithe appearance, with lean muscle built through her basic training. She can typically be seen in plain clothes befitting her place in the SIA, or else her Null combat gear. Elena has the obvious look of a new Alliance recruit, and a young one at that, scrubbed up with few signs of the emotional and physical scars of war. Beyond her uniform, her only accessory is a string necklace with a Sith Legionnaire's service pin, hung next to her dog tags and hidden beneath her shirt.

Description:
Elena Lowe is the daughter of former Sith Legionnaire Karina Lowe. Born in 849, she is 18 years of age, having spent half her life in the Sith Empire, and half in the Alliance. With the Alliance facing the Maw in the Second Hyperspace War, Elena forged documents stating she was 18 years old with the help of her Aunt, Madelyn Lowe, and joined the GADF as a cadet, cycling through the Defence Forces' various branches. She is driven to carve out a place for herself in the Alliance, choosing to join the Defence Forces against the wishes of her mother and despite being too young to enlist. Young and naïve, Elena is unwilling to accept the humble civilian life her mother Karina had planned for her, instead driven to find success and purpose in the Galaxy. At 18, Elena was recruited to the SIA.

Whisked away from the crumbling remains of The Sith Empire at a young age, Elena Lowe grew to know the Alliance as the adoptive home that took her in. Settled on a farm on Balmorra with her mother, an ex-Sith Legionnaire, Elena longed for a life beyond the simple one she had been given. On the holonet she followed the events of the Second Great Hyperspace war closely, and ached to join the GADF to do her part in the fight against the Maw, and see the Galaxy along the way. On her 16th birthday, Elena snuck off her property in the dead of night, using all her savings to take a shuttle to her Aunt Madelyn's property, where she was provided with false documentation including a birth certificate stating she was 18 that would allow her to serve in the GADF. The next day, with a letter for her mother waiting on her pillow and her aunt's well wishes, Elena joined up as the GADF's newest recruit.

Life in the GADF had a rocky start for Elena. Despite successes in her service at Empress Teta and Csilla, Elena came under fire after refusing a promotion to the Starfighter Corps. She was dragged back to basic training, spending the next two years working in signals in the backlines of Balmorra Systems Command.

Days after her birthday, Elena's lucked changed. She was recruited to the SIA under Task Force Null after a mysterious benefactor ensured her file was on the top of recruiter's lists.
