Eleventh Hour (Leori)

It had been several months since that fateful vacation on Zeltros and standing there in the shower Jack was surprised... By a few things... one he had gotten married and they had decided to keep it going. Then he had traded a jedi for a ring and well that was quite a fun experience, now he was here making some changes to the house for well aesthetics purposes, he didn't need all the fancy art he didn't really pay attention to or the sculptures that would do little then possibly impress the females in drunken haze. He had Leori now and selling the things around here to add to their new joint account for whatever she wanted to feel pampered was great and he liked it... Cause the fringe benefits of keeping a jedi master healer happy.. well outweighed much.

Changing and going outside to the new private landing pad they had installed for her ship to land on, he couldn't go and meet her with the silver jedi. Even if it mattered little but she needed a place to park and her ship was pretty a gift for her hard work helping the order and Republic. He remained in the garden now and sat there in a swing suspended over the grass, his one leg over the other while he checked a chrono and stretched his arms out to relax. A little rest before she arrived back and they did whatever they liked. The ceremony was easy... finding new ways to make her happy that was going to be the real trick.

Leori was just reaching the atmosphere of Zeltros and prepared herself for the overwhelming power of the pheromones on the world she now called home. Jack was doing his best to spoil her and being a woman of few material possessions, the savings only grew. Cause she hadn't spent any of it. Her own credits were substancial as well, because she only ever spent money on the essentials. But, that would probably change in the near future.

Her Crucible cruiser nestled down on the barely dry duracrete and a minute later, she descended the ramp. The Jedi Master could already see [member="Jack Harkness"] sitting on the swing in the garden. And he was checking his chrono again.

Leori smirked and called out as she moved toward the swing. "Am I late?"

Late... no no never. He stood up before looking and closing the distance opened his arms for her. "No no never but you just in time they are about to kick off the latest season of the grav shows and we have one of the best seats to see it from here." He motioned to the swing and then across the parade way under the landing pad where people were gathered watching the grav arena. "Wouldn't want you to have to come in when it is dark and the show is on going... they don't like that." He offered a smile and the seat while he looked out around them.

Leori stopped just in front of him and wrapped her arms around his waist. "A show, eh?" She tilted her head backward and looked up at him. "Any chance of food to go with it?" The Jedi Master grinned. She had an appetite, which wasn't usual for her, she supposed she had the pheromones to thank for that.

She sat down on the swing and curled her legs underneath her. How handy, there was a blanket there on the swing that she pulled up and over her lap. It was refreshing to be back on Zeltros. While the pheromones were invasive, she was actually starting to enjoy the sense of peace, lack of stress and disregard for propriety. She wondered if the effects would be similar on other worlds in present company, but she had yet to manage to test that theory. This state of mind was intoxicating indeed.

Oh he had some food and moving off into the house after she had the blanket and was good he sashayed his hips playfully getting some of the food and changing, more into some shorts in case she decided to go into the hot tub and watch and a cotton shirt. He came out holding a trey of food with some variety as there were meats, cheese, crackers, dipping sauces and finger foods. "Well it isn't much but I did get some foo for you, should be more then enough to enjoy before I find a way to convince you into the hot tub." He sat down with a look on his face and moved the tray to one hand between them while the other was over the back of the swing.

Leori chuckled as he sashayed away to the kitchen. They may not have the most traditional relationship, but he certainly kept her smiling, so that couldn't be a bad thing. As she waited, she lazily used the Force to push the swing. Her mind was never troubled on Zeltros, since the mystery of her first visit had been solved. Here, her mind was free of burden and over thinking. Normally, she ran after working to attain this kind of clarity. Here, she didn't have to.

When her husband returned, she stretched her neck to see what he was carrying. Finger foods. Excellent. The swing stopped and she took the tray from him before examining them closely to determine where to begin. Cheese.

As she munched a piece, she looked up at [member="Jack Harkness"]. "Well, I suppose I could eat in the Hot Tub...." Leori smirked.

Now that was the spirit and he was more then enjoyable about the idea of watching the show in the hot tub and having some food. Best way to go about it as he stood up offering his arm. "Well then we'll be able to get the best seats in the house for the show." Waiting only a few moments and heading back over to the tub built for several with a massage table next to it had him ready to begin. "After you."

Leori took his arm and walked to the hot tub. She dropped her robes and climbed into the hot tub. Any tension that remained in her body would quickly melt away with the hot water and massaging jets. With a smile, she sunk into the corner and tilted her head back so that she could watch the show that Jack had mentioned earlier.

She reached her hand out to call the tray of munchies to her hand so that she could continue to munch as she watched.

As she got in he got ready for the show to begin and sunk into the water. Moving over so he was in one of the seats and the crowd was cheering as the performance began. He hadn't really seen it before but it had sounded like a wonderful show or at least something that could be funny as the sound came over the open grounds allowing full volume to come while he could make out the performance from the height of the grav stage.

Leori munched happily as the show began. It wasn't one that she recognized, so she could watch it with no prejudice or comparison to other productions of similar material. "Have you seen this show before? I haven't seen this one, or heard of this story."

She offered him the tray and sunk back a little, stretching her legs out so that only her toes were sticking out of the hot water. The Jedi Master was very comfortable. Which was unusual for shows such as this. Normally the seats were uncomfortable and there were heads in the way. But not today. This was the way to be, she had to admit.

When the sound reached her ears, she stopped talking and turned her full attention to the show while her hands idly stuffed her mouth full of finger foods.

"No I have never seen it." He whispered still having the show mentality of expecting someone to turn around and shhh him. As she ate and he had some as well he just relaxed enjoying it and the sight of her enjoying it. He waited the length of the show in silence listening, almost wanting to fall asleep it was so comfortable and he was just relaxed beyond belief. He took another bite and wondered to himself while she ate more. Well she has a healthy appetite now.

Leori was always very hungry after hyperspace trips, because she spent so much time meditating and not enough time taking care of her physical needs such as food. The Jedi Master wasn't a huge fan of hypertrips, though she made them so frequently in her line of work. However, she'd been making an effort to take better care of herself since getting stranded in space on her way to Voss.

She smiled when the show ended. "That was pretty good. I liked it." Leori turned so that she was facing him again. "Are we wrinkly enough for you?" She chuckled.

The end of the show had him giving a small clap and he heard Leori... Wrinkly enough? No never he would love each one and gave a nod. "I think so yeah we have gotten a good two hours of sitting in a tub relaxing. Now what else is there to do?" He rose the from water slowly and sat on the side while offering his hand. "Though anything with you involved will be enjoyable."

Leori took his offered hand and climbed out of the hot tub. "Well, a dry activity would be an excellent start, or I'll have pruney fingers forever." She chuckled and called two towels to her hand before offering one to Jack.

She wrapped it around herself and picked up the now empty tray. "Will you grab my bag on the way inside please?"

And she headed inside the house.

Yes a dry activity was a good idea maybe and there was plenty of things to do inside as he moved wrapping the towel around himself and getting the bag. She was perfect and packed light.... at least that was a plus. He had been expecting her to have many bags in that ship of shoes and dresses. It was perfect for him like this since he rather enjoyed the jedi ship she had. "Alright I'll be behind you." He entered the house and moved first going up to the room to put the bag there and let himself get dressed casually. in some loose fitted pants and shirt. He came down looking at her and offered the seat on the couch. "Well I have worked to clear out plenty of things for more space. Hope you like it."

Inside the house, she went to the kitchen to rid herself of the empty tray. It wasn't doing her any good empty after all. And up the stairs just moments behind him to finish drying off and redressing. And she put her bag down by the door, which is where it always was, so that it could be grabbed at any moment. And as soon as she dropped it she narrowed her eyes. She wasn't going to have to leave suddenly. Leori leaned down to pick it up and moved over to the dresser. The top drawer slid open and she tucked her few items away.

A few minutes later, she joined Jack downstairs on the couch. "I found a drawer, thanks. You don't have to get rid of things you know."

"Ah they were cramping my style no one honestly needs twelve statues of some men or women around a house it doesn't do anything and it wasn't like they were special people." He shrugged enjoying it and that she had moved her stuff to a drawer was a step in the right direction. "Plus it really opens the room for guests and he like."

"This has been your house for longer than it's been mine. I am not one to come in and demand that you change anything for me. Other than a few habits of yours, I don't want to change anything about you."

That of course did not mean that she didn't trust him. Leori was simply trying to change her own habits to allow herself to think of the house as her home and not a temporary stay. In fact, she was considering buying more things so that she'd have more than a few days worth of things. He had been surprised that she didn't have more, she could tell. But it was simply because that's the way she had lived for so long. She had more in her ship, but that had been docked for longer than she could remember. Before that, she had her own place for a while. That seemed like ages ago now.

"I think I'll buy some clothes tomorrow. It will be nice to wear something other than the things I travel with all the time. Do you want to go, or will it be terribly boring for you?" She didn't enjoy shopping for the most part, but probably because it was normally for necessities.

"Are you kidding? I love cloths shopping and this is your place. It should be made for us as a home... Having naked statues isn't somethign or naked artwork. Not everyone enjoys it and besides it adds to our accounts so you can get what you like or I can get some nice stuff. I am not to worried about it anyways." He still had a smile on his face though and just looking at her. "Wait a minute what kind of habits? Your not going to try and change the waxing my legs or making you food with fresh creamery butter are you?"

Leori chuckled. Of course he liked shopping. For a moment there, she'd forgotten who she was speaking to. And then he realized the other part of what she'd said. She laughed. "Nothing so serious. Just the promiscuity and drugs."

"Butter. Not in everything I hope." She really didn't need to give herself any health issues. That would just make more work for herself. "And you can remove every hair on your body as long as you leave some eyebrows. I cannot deal with no eyebrows on humans."
