Elissa Veen displays all the familiar physical features that belong to humanity. Standing at 168cm tall, she's quite average for a female of her species and has a fairly lean yet somewhat athletic build. Her most notable features are her vibrant, blue eyes and brown hair which is kept at neck length. Elissa prefers to dress in attire appropriate of a Corellian which is to say she dresses in a more contemporary fashion that's suited to the styles of core worlds.
An adventurous woman, Elissa is almost always exploring new exploring strange places and is ready to meet new people. Seeing as she's a war reporter, she also has a tendency to enjoy the thrill of dangerous locations and situations. She finds the grey areas to provide a more realistic angle on intergalactic society, politics, and culture; so it's not uncommon to find Elissa in criminal hideouts, flagrant clubs, and shady starports. Privately, she is an envious individual and seeks the approval of those closest to her despite being a rather stubbornly autonomous woman.

The best way to describe her is 'above average' but even then she has limited combat skill--only taught for self-defense--and cannot operate any technology or equipment that isn't otherwise commonplace in day-to-day living of a contemporary citizen in the core. But she is intelligent, quick-witted, and resourceful; so she's not entirely average in every aspect of her being but won't be able to accomplish any feats without luck's mercy.
