Strengths:
  • Slicing Blast: The DC-117 Plasma Blaster is a blaster pistol with a rather unique design. Though most blaster bolts when fired are 'straight' and thus strike in a single point, the bolts of the DC-117 are 'curved' within their magnetic field. This means that the blast has some rather unique properties. The curve essentially turns the blaster shot into a crescent, giving it a flatter surface and more area to strike. Though it is less powerful than a standard blaster it is able to do damage over a wider area. It's quite easy to set things on fire with the DC-117.
Weaknesses:
  • Front Weight: Due to it's unique barrel composition the DC-117 is somewhat front heavy. This weight makes the weapon difficult to control and aim, a newcommer firing this weapon would be hard pressed to hit their first shot, much less their second or their third. Firing this weapon properly takes time and practice, maybe even a little bit of luck.
DESCRIPTION
When Elizabeth first joined the Shadow Syndicate she was not much one for weapons.

This changed eventually when she began to grow a taste for violence. Though initially leading a rather sheltered existence on her homeworld of Anaxes, Elizabeth quickly grew a taste for violence like none other. Though she preferred to watch rather than actually carry out the various acts of brutalities, she did quickly gain a reputation within the Shadow Syndicate for being particularly brutal.

This brutality of course extended further than into simple fisticuffs, and eventually the young woman grew a taste for all sorts of weapons.

Eventually this interest became expansive enough that Elizabeth herself began to use blasters and other arms. Initially she used only WESTAR's and other high quality weapons, treating herself to only the best of the best. This continued on for years until finally she simply commissioned herself a weapon with a little known corporation known as Desert Coat Arms. The weapon she asked for was one designed not necessarily for precision, but rather splash damage.

DCA quickly set to work, molding and crafting a weapon for Elizabeth herself.

  • This is a pistol with lower accuracy and projectile with poor aerodynamics. Please reduce the effective range of the weapon.

  • I'd like you to elaborate a bit on how exactly this bolt is 'curved'. In which dimension? Is it wider than the normal blaster bolt?
  • I'm also not convinced why they would be more difficult to block with a lightsaber. So long as they don't explode on impact like particle bolts, these can be deflected just like normal – in fact, if they cover a wider area, it would be easier to catch them with a blade.
