BIOGRAPHY:
Ellin Calderon was born on Alderaan to Keith and Karen Calderon as the youngest of three, her older brothers being Matthew and Valkren. With her father and oldest brother in the Republic military, Ellin was raised by her mother and Valkren, who also worked to support the family. Ellin looked up to Valkren and the brother and sister were very close in many ways other than the six year age gap. Everything was great, until her father and oldest brother disappeared mysteriously one year.
After that, the family was a total wreck; Valkren started drinking a lot and lost his job, Ellin ended up dropping out of school and working at a bar to support herself and her grief-stricken mother who refused to come out of her room. Just as Ellin thought it couldn’t get worse, Valkren signed up with the Republic military, the military her father and Matthew had been a part of when they disappeared, got kicked out of officer training school, and was demoted to sergeant, with almost no way to support his family. Ellin then took on two part time jobs, one at a cantina and another in the spaceport hauling luggage onto the passenger ships. Neither payed very well and Ellin would work two shifts at either job just to be able to afford to pay rent for their home. She misses her brother a lot.
