- Anti-Shank Cloth provides protection against kinetic force and energy weapons.
- Duraflex Fabric provides environmental protection as well as regulating body temperature.
- Blasterproof: As clothing goes, this dress is very durable against blaster fire, able to withstand even direct hits.
- Sleeps With Vibroblades: The dress boasts exceptional defense against kinetic blows from weapons such as vibroblades. The faster the sharp object is moving, the stronger the cloth will be against it. It also has shock absorption.
- Protection From the Elements: The duraflex fabric used in the inner lining of the dress provides protection from environmental factors and has been treated so that it will not retain water (and become heavy) when submerged. In addition, it features technology that regulates the wearer's body temperature so that they are never too warm or too cold.
- Lightsabers and Ion: The dress has no real durability against lightsabers and EMP/ION. The prevailing wisdom of this is that, as a Jedi, if you can't block your opponent's lightsaber or grind Sith lightning, you're doing something wrong and your outfit, while stylish, can't save you anyway.
- Mere Clothing: While the fabric is quite durable, this is still only clothing and should not be considered on par with armor.
One of the last commissions Thelma accepted before her arrest and subsequent escape from the Jedi Order, it seemed Eloise might never receive the dress she asked for. Forced into hiding, it took many months for Thelma to obtain the right materials, design the dress and sew it. Then there was the matter of shipping it back to the Temple without being traced... She enlisted the help of her rescuers, and the dress finally made its way to Eloise just in time for the holiday party season.
