"It's high time we embraced change, bent it to our will and mastered it. We did it once when Kaeshana was decimated and now we must do it again. Those who cling to the old ways shouldn't mourn the dead for they will join them soon enough."
-Elrendar Addressing the 1st Legion, 26th Royal Isianthar Infantry Regiment
Name: Elrendar Kalendris
Rank: Captain (Current, Auxillary), Major (Former, Eldorai).
Loyalties: First Order Auxillary, Thalera Isianthar
Role: Old Friend, Mentor and Loyal Subordinate
Development Threads: N/A
Age: 68
Species: Eldorai
Culture: Illyrian, First Imperial
Appearance: Elrendar Kalendris stands at one-hundred and eighty-one centimetres tall (5'11") and is characterised by his gaunt cheeks and figure weighing no more than sixty kilogrammes (132 .lbs). Elrendar was starved by the extreme conditions found on his homeworld and so all that remains of the Eldorai man is bone and a physique defined by its almost complete lack of body fat complemented by extraordinarily wide shoulders. Elrendar, as a result, is more powerful than his weight would indicate. His hair is a jet black and tapers into a widow's peak while his eyes are a deep ocean-like blue. His hands are broad with thick fingers; Made strong by almost an entire Human lifetime of war, suffering and perseverance.
Personality: Elrendar Kalendris is well-known for annoyingly calm persona with nothing but extreme pain seeming to phase him, Elrendar tends to only break his calm and collected composure when in the heat of battle where he becomes markedly more sadistic and bloodthirsty. Elrendar doesn't care about notions of honour and is completely pragmatic in his approach to battles whether they be physical or political, this makes him rather unpopular with the self-righteous and religious who might see themselves as being above killing a disarmed enemy, politician or royalty under the pretence of a peaceful dinner. Having grown up in the Misandrist society of the Eldorai, he felt acts of righteousness and valour went unrewarded because he is a man. While acts of infamy and brutality caught more attention. It is fair to say that Elrendar is dangerous and ruthless though these were necessary traits for him to succeed in the military back on Kaeshana due to their Matriarchal system. Elrendar is a staunch opponent of the Eldorai Monarchy viewing the Eldorai court-in-exile with the highest disdain and adheres little to Eldorai tradition but this isn't to say that he's disloyal, no but simply he doesn't find many Eldorai traditions worth honouring for their female-centric origins. Elrendar's loyalty to Thalera grew out of his admiration for her subtle commitment to promoting a sense of gender equality and additionally to Thalera's selfless actions where she saved his life. Elrendar's loyalty to the first order comes from his admiration for its' meritocratic and egalitarian principles and dedication to promoting order throughout the Galaxy. In contrast to his former Officer Commanding, Elrendar is patient and humble; Observing that the flowers who stand the tallest are the most likely to be plucked from the garden.

The 26th Royal Isianthar Infantry Regiment functions in a similar vain to a marine expeditionary force. Striking from the FIV Ashira out at the First Order's Enemies, Garrisoning planets where they might fulfil the role of a local gendarmerie. Elrendar himself leads a platoon-sized unit trained in close personal protection for Governor Isianthar's person when necessary or requested. As a single combatant, Elrendar is devastating when fighting with his electrostaff or vibrosword and was popular amongst the 26th Royal Isianthar Regiment for defeating an officer of the respected Angelii in melee combat.

History:
- Elrendar is a veteran Eldorai soldier who was born into a working-class family overwhelmingly male, he was raised and nurtured by his Father and Older Brothers without ever having known the loving compassion of a Mother, only the terrible realities of poverty and low-income trade work. Having endured so much pain as a child, Elrendar eventually learned to love pain, to crave for it. Elrendar's schooling years were filled with brutal violence committed by him upon other students and constantly prayed to Ashira the goddess of wisdom to deliver him from the powerful vexation he felt throughout his everyday life. It wasn't until Elrendar become much older that he realised what truly drove him to such violence; Injustice, the injustice of being treated like a second-class citizen. And it from this realization drawn from his observation that the upper echelons of society were closed to him, that Elrendar decided to defy convention and those who would perpetuate the status quo of their homeworld. At the age of thirty, Elrendar joined the Eldorai army and served with distinction for thirty-eight years, clawing his way up from an enlisted rank into the Officer Corps. Paying for his commission in the blood of his kin and off-worlders.
- It was at an upper-class party Elrendar executed a most cunning ruse to kill a rival of his under the cloak of self-defense. Elrendar's rival was an Angelii warrior named "Lynala", a then young albeit high-ranking officer within the Eldorai's premier elite, Elrendar went about seducing Lynala's paramour who he had no real interest in although was able to maintain the ruse and get uncomfortably friendly with the noblewoman to the point where Lynala challenged Elrendar to a duel to the death under the authority of some ancient law dealing with courtship. This automatically catapulted Elrendar to a position of status as it recognised him as an equal to all those who gathered to witness the duel. The two rivals would end their feud after walking an equal number of paces from each other and turning, armed with melee weapons; Elrendar a sword and Lynala a great-axe. The two warriors charged towards one-another with Elrendor pulling his cloak and throwing it into the Angelii soldier's face, before sliding between the considerably taller woman's legs with his sword raised slicing straight through her groin Lynala collapsed onto her knees. Elrendar rose to his feet and this time rammed his blade through the woman's skull, before withdrawing it and allowing Lynala to collapse onto the floor into a pool of her own blood; dead. The woman whom Lynala loved and Elrendar had been feigning an interest in later demanded that the Eldorai man marries her, although he publically spurns this demand, being true to his heart and making a political statement; Elrendar would not be treated like cattle.
- Elrendar serves with Thalera Wintersong in the 26th Royal Isianthar Infantry Regiment as the regiment's second-in-command when the former was a mere platoon and then company commander. Elrendar held a special contempt for his regiment commander at the time who was quite a conservative Eldorai; Constantly extolling loyalty to the crown, fidelity to the faith of Ashira and was a rabid misandrist who openly in front of troops within the regiment belittled and insulted Elrendar for his gender. Thalera stopped Elrendar from assaulting the Colonel once to his frustration at the time, scolding the young Captain for laying a hand on him only to be surprised by the junior officer's empathy and so began their sense of mutual respect that would lay the foundation for their close friendship. In those years the regiment experienced instability in its' leadership and chain of command because of the feud between Captain Wintersong, Major Kalendris and Colonel Dawnfire. Elrendar became fixed on replacing Colonel Dawnfire with Captain Thalera Wintersong, as he himself couldn't muster enough support amongst the junior officers and NCOs as a man and so subtly started praising Captain Wintersong which caught on with the intended audience. In the end, Thalera proved herself when she saved Major Kalendris and a sizable group of soldiers nearly to the cost of her own life. This act secured the Regiment's support of the up and coming officer and Elrendar made sure to pass up on the promotion offer quietly for the good of the regiment and so Thalera Wintersong became "Colonel Wintersong" with Colonel Dawnfire being given a different command billet.
- Leading the regiment now as the 2IC with Colonel Wintersong in-charge things finally started to change for the better. After decades of service, growing jaded and disenfranchised there was something uplifting to see; An Eldorai Woman making an effort to try and treat her male troops with a sense of dignity and without spouting dogma every sentence about Ashira or the Crown. Instead, he had a Regimental Commander who cared about the Eldorai people and real problems such as their place in an expanding existence which was brutally shattered by the Cataclysm and saw their race changed forever. It was in this period that he and Colonel Wintersong truly became friends, forced to rely on one another to survive and save as many of their people who were left for dead as possible. Their success was limited by the scarcity of resources but the Regiment stayed together and weathered the storm together, battling against the raiders and forsaken who prowled the desolated lands of Kaeshana. With the First Order's arrival came salvation, Elrendar whom had all but lost hope was renewed and like the regiment and its' commander eagerly joined the First Order with promises to see Kaeshana rebuilt and the opportunity to join them in spreading order and prosperity throughout the Galaxy.
