  • GENERAL INFORMATION

Elsabetta Perris always knew her path—to serve as a pilot in the Galactic Alliance, just as her parents and grandparents had before her. She built her career on discipline, determination, and relentless effort, dedicating everything to the uniform she wore.

    The Hapes Crisis changed everything.

What started as a diplomatic intervention spiraled into war, political chaos, and a humanitarian disaster, with the Alliance's involvement only deepening the crisis. Disillusioned by what she witnessed, Elsabetta made the difficult choice to not renew her contract and walked away from her loyalties and everything she'd ever fought for.

Now, she flies on her own terms—no banner, no orders, just her skills and instincts. Where she goes next is still uncertain.

  • APPEARANCE

At five-foot-four, Elsabetta Perris is compact and athletic, built for endurance rather than brute strength. She has short, reddish-brown hair, blue eyes, and a smattering of freckles across her nose and cheeks. As a teenager, she would dye her hair every color under the Corellian sun in an attempt to stand apart from her rowdy male siblings, but as she grew older, Elsabetta realized she didn't need to change her appearance to stand out — she just had to throw as hard a punch as her brothers. Eventually, she gave up the ritual for her natural color.

There are three piercings in each of her ears and a matching tattoo that she got on her right hip with her younger brother Kelly after he graduated from the military academy, making sure to strategically place it where her parents were less likely to see. It is stylized after a Corellian eight-pointed star and surrounded by the words, "Yke Hyon Fhars Oblivyn Cnous Oblivyn" ("He who fears nothing, knows nothing") in Olys Corellisi.

And although she doesn't remember it happening, Elsabetta bears faint scars on each of her wrists from when her older brother Rik accidentally burned her with the Force as a toddler. It's not something she thinks about, or even remembers, not in the way that Rik or Trent remembers the event—to her, the scars are nothing more than a story that's been told to her. Even still, Elsabetta prefers to keep them covered up with gloves, wrist wraps, or longer sleeves—not out of vanity or shame, but simply because she grew tired of having to explain where they came from to those of a more curious nature.

  • PERSONALITY

Growing up in a household full of five brothers and only one other sister, Elsabetta learned early that respect wasn't given—it was earned. She learned to fight twice as hard and speak twice as loud—not out of a desire to prove herself in grand displays, but because it was the only way to be heard. She is, in every sense, one of the boys, throwing punches and taking them in stride, trading insults as easily as battle tactics, and standing shoulder to shoulder with those whom she calls her own.

When it comes to her sense of loyalty, it is hard won, but runs deep—especially when it comes to her family. While they may argue and clash from time to time, the moment someone else tries to insult them? That fight is over before it starts. No one messes with her family and walks away unscathed.

In the cockpit, another side of Elsabetta's personality takes wing. Having been taught throughout her entire life by both her parents, and Grandfather, all decorated pilots in their own right — Elsabetta learned early on that piloting wasn't about necessarily flying the fastest or the boldest—it was about flying the smartest. Because of this mindset and approach, Elsabetta doesn't take unnecessary risks, nor does she rely on reckless instinct. She flies with measured precision, executing timed maneuvers and always staying a step ahead. She outflies her opponents not through sheer aggression, but by forcing them into traps they don't even realize they've walked into.

    STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

    TKwI1Hi.png
Moral Compass — Principles aren't principles if you pick and choose when to follow them, and like all Perris children, Elsabetta was instilled with a strong sense of right and wrong. Raised in a stable, loving household, Elsabetta internalized the importance of family, tradition, and personal integrity. She was taught that loyalty matters, respect is earned, and a person's word should mean something. There's a clear line between what is good and what is bad in her mind, and she follows that internal guide not because it's convenient, but because it's who she is.

Measure Twice, Cut Once – Elsabetta is not one to rush into things blindly. Whether in the cockpit or on the ground, if she has the space and time to do so, Elsabetta will carefully asses her situation and only act after a great deal of forethought has gone into the idea. If she's going to do something, she's going to do it right the first time.

Under Pressure – While others might be ruled by their emotions or impulses, Elsabetta keeps a steady head in moments of crisis. Operating under pressure seems to be where she thrives the most, processing problems with calm efficiency rather than letting stress or chaos shake her.

High Expectations of Others — Having been raised in a disciplined and competitive household, Elsabetta expects a high level of competence from those around her and struggles to have patience when those standards aren't met. This can make her come across as harsh, dismissive, and cold, even when she has good intentions.

R.E.S.P.E.C.T — While Elsabetta was raised to have a deep sense of duty, loyalty, and respect, she isn't afraid to question authority. To those who have earned her trust, Elsabetta will follow orders without issue and defer to their judgment. However, if their decisions contradict her moral compass, if her trust is betrayed, or they reveal incompetence, she won't hesitate to openly question, challenge, or outright disregard them. For Elsabetta, respect must be maintained and once lost, it is not easily regained.

  • "STITCH"

Elsabetta's name filled the academy halls before she ever stepped foot in them. Hard not to be known, when your family tree reads like a who's who of starfighter legends. Mother and father, both decorated combat veterans. Two grandfathers who'd written half the tactics in the training manuals. And then there was Rik, her older brother, already making waves with the Jedi Aces.

The name "Princess" stuck to her like an itchy red rash from day one.

At first, she let them talk. Elsie knew how this all worked—prove yourself, and the noise would eventually die out. So, she did what she was supposed to — kept her head down, did the work, and took everything they threw at her. She ran the drills, endured the blows, and never asked for an easier fight. But the name stuck. And stuck. Every time she outperformed someone, it was dismissed as being "in her blood." Every time she struggled, it was proof she didn't belong.

She spent her weeks biting her tongue, of letting them take their shots, of knowing that fighting back too soon would mean losing before she ever had a chance to win. But when the moment finally came—when someone pushed just a little too hard, hit just a little too late after the whistle blew—Elsabetta finally hit back.

The strike was clean, precise—a perfect combination that started with a feint to the left before her right hook caught them square on the jaw. It was perfectly calculated, measured—exactly the kind of methodical precision her family was known for. Their eyes rolled back before they hit the mat, and the entire training room fell silent, all except for the sound of a dull thud as her opponents body hit the floor.

The name "Princess" died in that moment, but the challenges that followed it became that much more difficult.

Rotations became harder, sparring partners came at her faster. Her schedule filled up with extra combat drills, tougher flight assignments, maintenance shifts that shouldn't have been hers — she met every challenge head-on. When they knocked her down, she got back up. When they pushed, she pushed back harder — the medbay became a second home.

One such night, as she sat on the cot with a needle threading her skin back together for the fourth or fifth time that month, someone scoffed, "At this rate, we should just call you Stitch."

    Just like that, it stuck.

Like "Princess," it started as a joke—a way to mock how often she ended up in the medbay. But as time passed, it took on a different meaning.

They saw how she never unraveled, no matter how hard they tried to pull her apart. They saw how she held things together—not just herself, but her team, her squad, the ones who once doubted her. They watched her stitch together last-minute flight plans, fix missions that were falling apart, keep people moving when moral was low and they wanted to give up. They started saying "Stitch" a bit differently.

Gone was the mockery—replaced with something else, something earned. Something that had nothing to do with her family name and everything to do with who she'd proven herself to be. Even if her family legacy had opened the door, there was no doubt that it was her own blood, sweat, and determination that carved out her place in those halls—one stitch at a time.
