DESCRIPTION

The Emberline Array is not merely a sensor system—it is a communion engine. Where typical scanners rely on radio signals, heat, or electromagnetic data, the Emberline Array listens for ghosts—the echoes of presence, memory, and will that linger after action. Built from forbidden Sith schematics and enhanced by the Iron Howl's blood-soaked rituals, it allows the Iron Maw to see what cannot be seen, to speak where words are deafened, and to feel across void and veil alike.

At the heart of the array lies a psionically-conductive neural lattice, built from harvested and alchemically-preserved cerebral cores of fallen warriors and Force adepts. Its obsidian skin is veined with pulsing lines of pyronium and sarrassian iron, glowing like dying embers. When active, the array sings—a low harmonic thrum felt more than heard—rattling bones and stretching perception.

Used primarily for tracking Force-users, hidden relics, or shadow-fleet movements, the Emberline excels in situations where conventional sensors fail. It also serves as a communications conduit for elite Howlers, who carry Ember Tokens embedded with shard-nodes allowing short, encrypted psychic exchanges.

The array is most potent when paired with Ashline Beacons—ritual devices that serve as remote psychic anchors or receivers. Once deployed, these totems "bleed" ambient psychic energy, allowing the Emberline to map terrain or enemy positions in a fog of war.
