OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create a specific kind of countermeasure for the Silver Jedi Defense Force (and Concord as a whole)
  • Canon Link: Countermeasures
  • Permissions: My Subs
  • Primary Source: Countermeasures
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: Guardian Authority Ltd.
  • Affiliation: Silver Jedi Concord
  • Market Status: Closed-Market
  • Model: Emergency Flares
  • Modularity: Can be installed multiple different types of fighters
  • Production: Minor
  • Material: Aluminum, Glass, Transparisteel (all in tiny strips), propellant, gas cannister
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Kept in cannisters in aft of fighters.
  • Released in short bursts
STRENGTHS
  • CAN CONFUSE CANNONS TOO - The propellant ignites the gas cannisters and the small burst of flame ignites against the aluminum and glass and creates intense light which could confuse sensors long enough for an escape.
WEAKNESSES
  • ONLY A FINITE AMOUNT - About five shots and you're out. Better start getting creative after that or your going to be shot down.
DESCRIPTION
Yes, there are countermeasures and chaff out there, but these flares are meant to confuse blaster cannons as well. Just more tech coming out of a company headed up by a fighter pilot.

Interesting technology, however the wording is not really good. Always the opponent said the result of the attack, not you. So please modify it. There is two examples: "It can interfere with the sensors" or "it can confuse sensors", etc.
