- Skills: Trained in swords and blades in general. Seasoned combat general and leader for his people from the frontlines as well as talented in musical composition and flower arraignment.
- Personality: Direct and rough around the edges, some would say he was colder then most but his kindness is more reserved for after he makes a decision about a person and personal honor is important to him. Externally people can view his honor as tainted for stealing Akiko from his best friend and marrying her but he and she knows the truth. Among the people he is often viewed in a more monoliithic stature as he has survived several assassination attempts and poisonings but was named for his flower arraignments in the royal gardens. One for each of those who fell in the battles of Atrisia.

Early Years: Tamakatsurawas born and raised on Atrisia, the son of a yovshin who served to protect the emperors sister. He was kept within the district of the palace at Jar'kai and from a very young age he showed promise with a blade. His best friend though and who he was raised with as his mother doubled as the babies wet nurse was the child of the emperors sister. Name Genji and considered by many with scandal since no one knew who his father was... only rumors but the boy and Tamakatsura quickly became friends and were schooled together. They played together, they ate together and as they grew up it was tough to divide them in their ideals for the Atrisian commonwealth. Genji looked up to his uncle and Tamakatsura spent summers with the family his family being allowed to come along as well.
Their schooling was important as they learned much about Atrisian history and the Commonwealth becoming a new empire under Akio they were the first there on the frontlines of it. Where they could go for expansion and were on the ground for Csilla when Akio overtook and started to work with the Chiss as well as several other Unknown region species. They were there for Sakura and a few others even fighting in the battle on Atrisia in Kansai against the Lords of the Fringe. When Akio died and his sister took over for a time it was different but neither saw much change until she passed away. The new emperor who took over was Genji's uncle and he elevated his nephew to chamberlain... the effective second in command of the government and with that Tamakatsura was elevated to his chief bodyguard.
Brothers: They continued like this for years, working together and with the death of the emperors eventually Genji was considered the next in line of succession. He was well loved and popular... he had the support of the military and there were dangerous times ahead as the galactic scene continued to shift and change. Coruscant was always in a state of flux, the Protectorate and sith empires waned... other groups like the Lords of the Fringe receded and the latest CIS were stilll around but slowly losing some power. The Atrisian empire fell far and away ceding much in terms of territory but the people were different by then and it was much preferred to go back to the Commonwealth itself. Internally they were working to try and recover what had been expended and it was encouraged that Genji find a wife to make heirs.
Between the two of them though Genji respected Tamakatsura and made him the chamberlain of the royal family. Not bad for them both and there was the investigator of people and events in Unaga who was from one fo the oldest families on the planet. The One sith were on the rise and a chance for dangerous attacks were coming. That was why Genji sought an empress and to make an heir should the worse happen but he was more then happy to have his friend take over the position. It was well known that he was most loved and most trusted. There were other rumors that they were more then just friends but no one cared enough to substantiate such claims about the emperor. They continued to really build up the defenses of Atrisia despite the unrest that was brewing in the galaxy.
Akiko: One of the biggest things was the day he met Akikonomu Utsukushi-Sa or as she was called b some Akiko.... a young girl by all accounts and just barely at the age of marriage. She had been brought to court by her mother and was a pawn in the womans attempts to gain status. It was well known she had sold her oldest daughter off to the Keisei... they would never admit it but they sought themost beautiful and ones with potential paying for it if they had to but were still considerably moderate in their approach. Genji was taken with her... a talented dancer and she even knew how to speak poetry which was endearing. Tama though rebuffed her.. she was there for his best friend after all and he wasn't going to ruin a chance for his best friend to be happy.
Sending her away when war came to the planet.. if it could be called that. Was a decision both of them made and they stayed to fight and protect the people as the One sith subjugated the planet and for the interest of protecting lives it was safer to capitulate as Genji was largely ignored when be blended in and the people protected him from the offworlder who claimed rulership of the world. They didn't have the military forces after stretching themselves thin with their forces to fight back but they had patience and Tama and Genji could plan even while under a boot. The offworlder they observed cared more for adoration and being loved then policy or helping the people so all they needed was to do small ripples... small deeds that resonated with the people while showing what was being done to exploit them.
Then eventually he left, bored with the world as he seemed to think people he forced to worship him liked him... they went back to a life and many who were sent off world to protect them were able to return. Among them was Akiko but somethig had changed with her... she didn't want to be with Genji despite his preparing and being honest in wanting to make a better life for her. Her mother was happy about it, her mother pushing it and it took nearly a year for her to convince Tama that she wanted a life with him. His first wife dying in childbirth and the second in the battle from the One sith... it wasn't easy and he wasn't going to run off into the night. His friend deserved more respect then that and with clean up fights against offworlders who were moved to the planet to hold it under thumb they had battles still.
The Rift: It wasn't a great battle between the, it wasn't a public disagreement that was heated and they didn't demand an honor duel. Genji realized partially what was happening and he saw it from the perspective of a outsider. The keisei who had come to court revealing it as a means show and preserve what had been built. Tama had refused for months and still wouldn't give in.. he only said that he would finally talk to his friend and in anger before they could speak. Genji sent him to the Norther regions to secure them.. to quell problems but to also clear out the mercenaries. Tama at first didn't understand until they argued and it was revealed what had taken place with him observing the two of them. Akiko and Tama fled the capital as they had been given a future but she believed Genji was angry over it.
Akiko and Tama were married in the norther continents, those most loyal to him following as he was sent to originally fight and clear the way as Genji took the southern regions. The trip up there was easier then it would have been as they had started bringing out the older airships once again. The emissions were lower and it wasn't as easy to detect with most systems while having many of the tools needed to tranport armies and be used as a forward operating base. Tama still felt terrible in terms of how he and Genji left things but he loved Akiko and she loved him which was in the end the biggest factor for him. With a Keisei there to document the campaign and what happened in the lives they lived she recorded the large ceremony taking place on the airship as the sun was rising over the jeweled mountains.
War in the North: The battles in the northern regions were a different beast. With the weather it was better to ground the forces. They hadworked to gather and canibalize enemy emplacements and shielding to protect their strongholds. They were able to hold several of the regions as they pushed what forces they faced between them and the Horselords who while disliking their fellow Atrisians... didn't like offworlders. Their leader who had served the Atrisian emperor for thousands of years by treaty was insulted when offered the chance to serve another for no other reason then because... strength was seen as power and just claiming all be loyal to you was almost an insult. The armies of the Horselods on their massive mounted longma charged them down and Tama with his men was able to make progress in holding them in the north.
The combined forces were able to make progress and push back most of the attackers but the horselords wouldn't leave their region... the mountain pass that they had and controlled was protected and that was good enough for them. Tama was left with an arm who had no where else to go barring down on him because the alternative was a brutal group of fighters. They went to one of the older fortresses and Tama had other things to worry about. Despite his objections Akiko had stayed with them in the fortress rather then go to the ccity which was more protected. He cared about her resolve to face everything together but it was a dangerous prospect as he was facing increasingly desperate forces and they were likened to do something to try and win against those who wanted to kill or capture them.
Last Stand: The battle raged on and news from the other rgions of Atrisia was that it went well enough. It helped that mythos had left for another world leaving only the mess and the fall of the one sith helped push things forward a great deal. They continued to fight through the northern passages of the mountains and across the frozen sea until the tide turned. With a harsher winter coming in it was harder to get supplies down to them from airships and shuttles as the blizzard wouldn't let many find their way towards the outpost they were in. It was a turning point but mostly because the forces they were going against were desperate and they brought everything they could muster against Tama and his soldiers smashing into the ice with one of their transports to drown in the freezing waters most of his men.
Devastated Tama returned to the fortress where Akiko and their first child were with the families and civilians who aided the army. They were holed up and prepared for the harsher winters as what was left of the enemies forces were marching towards them. As Tama prepared for what could very well be a last stand he didn't know Akiko had gone to contact Genji and as the battle started it went into the night and their walls were breached. The enemy forces charging into the main hold of the outpost. When dawn broke though he heard drums and was surprised to see the jade flags flying over the ridge. With the sun rising another army came at them when they were delivering all they could and at its head was Genji who charged into the fortress.
Invasion: The battle in the north was not without causalities, in the main chamber Genji sacrificed himself... leading the soldiers in he saved Tama's wife and son from harm but at the cost of his life and they led the forces to victory. Genji dying in the arms of his friends and all three seemed to lament what had happened. Tama finishing it as he was recommended and while some thought him unfit he welcomed all challengers who wished to face him. Several attacks and scars later he showed he wasn't just the strongest but she was also smart in some ways... marrying off and forging strong alliances within the Atrisian court. Akiko worked with the people to try and make something but Tama was the one who made the field for Genji. Spending nearly a year cultivating and planting the flowers onto the hillside and into the valley earning his title.
They were able to maintain a relative peace until the war returned, another was coming at them and Mythos had returned to the planet claiming it as his because he was the bestest ever emperor even though many disliked him. He hunted down Tama and his family as the emperor fought with the generals as well as many more. They led the uprising and a terrible price was paid as his children were killed. The one to try and force Akiko to give his location up and her refusal showed what many thought she didn't have... a vast reserve of strength and possibly inner hatred for the sith. With Mythos forced off Atrisia for another moment but he would be back... he always came back when he seemed to get bored. Tama and the others worked to try and recover as the First Order was stirring with the fall of the Galactic Alliance.
Jishi era: The new era was ushered in when
Shoma Ike
negotiated with the first order at the behest of his advisors he named the oung man his heir... There was no pressure but he was smart and talented in many ways. His family one of the renowned and honorable as his mother had served as the special investigator for decades within the court and they made sure the Atrisian treasuries were always full with a mixtre of Atrisian and offworlder credits. They were working on many things here but the family helped them and were running one of the larger industries that provided new equipment and supplies to Atrisia as a massive overhaul was being done. A dream of the people being able to live freely came as they ushered in the Jishi era itself and the First Order was helpful in that regard. The negotiations with them came on the heels of another invasion attempt by Mythos and it proved an annoyance as he seemed to disappear soon afterwards and leave them alone. With the collapse of the first order they were isolated for a time until Mythos returned with a new grop and thanks o Shoma's negotiations and friends the Agents of Chaos a group in the Unknown Regions and the CIS who were a new one came to help them. Compared to before when their leader Rostu rained fire from the skies to try and take out the lords of the fringe and them as well. The negotiations with the CIS proved fruitful and they were left alone to finally rebuild which they managed to do. Junko proving effective in getting the navy, the army and many other groups rebuilt. New ships and vehicles as well as technologies as the economy recovered.
With the ushering in of it and stirrings in the Galactic Alliance once again... well a new iteration they were looking upon Atrisia once again and it was about trying to ensure they had a future even though others sought to force themselves upon the world itself. Without their requests or respect towards the people.
