- Nitrous Oxide: The Supernal Infusion is unable to “boost” the user’s personal Force reservoir beyond its normal capacity. In essence, if an individual with a topped up reservoir takes a dose, the potion will yield them no tangible benefits. The drug is only effective if the user’s reservoir is drained below full capacity, whether slightly or entirely.
Formulated by First Sister as a personal project over the course of her alchemy studies in Malsheem, the Supernal Infusion was conceived in response to the demanding nature of her Force powers, which often resulted in her Force energy becoming depleted during intensive use. In spite of her affinity with electrical-based manifestations of the Force, her ability to harness such powers over a long period was lacking. As such, the Supernal Infusion was designed to give her an on the fly solution to “burn out” or depletion.
While the formula is relatively simple, the privileges First Sister received as one of Carnifex’s apprentices aided her in creating it, affording her access to Malsheem’s vast alchemical laboratories in addition to willing test subjects. From there, she was able to further refine and tune the formula to eliminate unwanted side effects, before coming up with the final recipe.
All in all, the Supernal Infusion represents a lighter and more sustainable alternative to the more overt methods of bolstering Force potential, instead acting to allow the user to harness their powers for longer via a simple alchemical potion.
