Strengths: Mobile- The EMS is a mobile medical station. This means that it is able to get to those in need of medical attention quickly and get them to medical treatment that much faster. This mobility also means they can get to a dedicated medical center if their injuries are more severe than the EMS is able to treat.
Weaknesses: Specialized- The EMS is a specialized speeder in what it can do. It is only able to be used to provide emergency medical aid to those who become injured. It is not able to act in any kind of combat or exploration role. It also lacks any form of weaponry or defensive systems leaving it vulnerable to attacks.
Description: The need for an emergency medical vehicle is high. With war and conflict so common in the galaxy it comes as a surprise that the options for a vehicle dedicated to providing medical aid to those in need is so lacking. Ashhearth Industries noticed that this niche needed to be filled in the market and began to work on designs for a good emergency medical vehicle right away. The ultimate design they settled upon was a speeder for the ability to move more quickly than a walker.
The EMS, or Emergency Medical Speeder, is simple in its design. It was made out of a duraplast hull around a durasteel frame. Duraglass was used for the windshields and other windows surrounding the speeder. Speeder parts were used for the engine and propulsion, which is the repulsarlifts. An internal medical table was built inside with medical equipment all around it. This allows the injured to be treated from the table for injuries that a simple medkit can not handle. A mobile lab was built inside of it as well to allow for analysis of blood and other materials while out in the field. The last addition was a stretcher that is able to be moved in and out of the speeder to get the injured in and out of it.
