PRODUCTION INFORMATION
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Easily Networkable
  • Entirely Organic
  • Self-Contained
  • Capable of lending capabilities to other systems in network
  • Quick data processing thanks to bio-chemical fibers
STRENGTHS
  • RESPONSIVE - Because these computers are unique, they are not reliant on traditional computers.
  • COMMUNAL COMPUTING - The networking that a biocomputer brings is the ability to "lend itself" to other computers, power, technological.
  • SELF HEALING - This is designed after the Duros Bio-Comp 1000 and thus is more able to recover from damage on its own.
WEAKNESSES
  • "THAT'S HOT" - Because of their capabilities and their needs organically speaking, the Encephalon needs to run at a specific temperature.
  • "THAT'S NOT MY JOB" - These computers share power and capabilities, but they do not share programming. The carbon fiber tendrils with preprogrammed instructions follow those instructions and nothing else. If these computers were in one ship department and they went down, another department could not take over or "pick up the slack" even temporarily.
  • "DUDE, IS IT READY YET?" - The Encephalon needs time to integrate into a ship's systems it is not able to "plug and play" like other systems or be manually networkd. Organically the computer must come to integrate on its own.
DESCRIPTION
The Encephalon biocomputer is designed with significant similarities to Calor Series Biocomputer mastered by Lucerne Labs and originally the Duros Bio-Comp 1000. Guardian Authority Ltd. is not trying to offer an alternative or steal business away from Lucerne, these biocomputers are just one more step in Guardian Authority Ltd. being more and more self-sufficient.
