Yet despite the near-holiness of such a position, very few Mandalorians ever become a gunsmith or forgemaster; the excitement of battle has a more seductive draw than the forge and bellows.
A Linear Fusion Rifle is perhaps one of the most complicated weapons that one could craft; most gunsmiths never even attempt it for fear of the disastrous consequences should their design be flawed. But when assembled correctly, suddenly a whole new world of possibilities and power are opened up.
