Description: Lucerne Labs is happy to off to its premium customers the Enigma-class Q Ship. These sturdy vessels offer security for you convoys as well as make an excellent covert operations vessel. The role of the Q ship is simple, to stay a secret until it is needed. The systems of the ship are mainly kept in tact and normal civilian systems are used when ever possible. Because of this the armor and engines of the Enigma class is far inferior to military vessels of the same size. A military grade shield projector is installed to assist in the defense of the vessel.
Modifications to the vessel include the construction of a secondary hull which resembles freight and cargo containers. These containers house the weapons systems and the attack craft until a time they are needed. The Hangers which house the attack craft are not sealed or pressurized, and because of this pilots and assault troops must board their craft before it has been docked on the racks inside the false containers. They must stay inside their craft until it has been launched.
Weapons are hidden and recessed into the hull. when the vessel comes under fire the weapons compartments will open and the weapons will extend out into firing position. Built with the ideal that Surprise is the greatest weapon a ship can have, The Enigma-class is not as heavily armed as other ships of its size. While not as heavily armed it still has a formidable weapons system which can offer support to the attack craft. Upon activation the Enigma-class can launch its attack craft and jump away to safety or stay and support the force against what ever target the vessel may face.
