Jammer: Specialized jammer byluilt into the dress can interfere with the targeting systems of combat droids with a 007-ty (seventy) meter radius for three ninutes but needs ten minutes for the battery to self recharge
Nanomachines, Son!: Special nanomachines help the dress repair from even very severe damage

Thin: It can't take much damage before tears show up, and quickly.
Energy: Cant take more then pistol strength blaster bolts
Kinetics: Can't take more than pistol strength slugs
Repair limits: After fully repairing the dress, the Nanomachines need to recharge for 007 minutes
Paddle Beams: Paddle beams shut down the suit for three minutes
Not meant for combat: And not fully mobile due to the way it was cut, this armor is more for a 'buying time for the unexpected' situation.

An experimental charter order for Nelson Manufacturing, The Entertainer dress is secretly a light armor for Vera to wear in her entertainer guise. Meant more for surviving nasty surprises than true combat, Vera made sure that the dress was not to be delivered to her but her guise as an entertainer, to preserve the secret she is a inhuman, blood sucking Android. Albeit highly qualified.
