So guys, i just made this armor.

As you can see its Limited production, that limit is set at those within Mierins Personal Guard.

Mierin uses a carbon copy of the Imperial Royal Guard that served Palpatine. The red armor and cloaks and everything. She personally trained each and every single one and they have been in her service for 20 years. They're currently lead by [member="Commander Orin"]. Each of them is loyal to her(and the One Sith of course) and could be considered one of the "elite" of the One Sith Military.

Don't warp your characters around this. If you want to make a Royal Guardsmen, do so, but don't change a plan you already had

This is simply me trying to give NFU more options other than basic soldier.

This is certainly intriguing, though I am already a Crimson Reaper and and fully dedicated to making that unit into a household name, I wouldn't want to rule out a future promotion.

Aren't Royal guards normally supposed to be in command of at least one combat unit?

Not really. The few times they were shown to be with regular troopers they donned normal Stormtroopers armor and were never really in command.

They aren't part of the military, they're a separate entity all together and will remain so. At this point they're basically Mierins personal army she conducts tasks with.

I am most assuredly not in command, in fact I'm a relatively new recruit, I did my best to defend the palace but we see how that went...

Also Yuuzhan Vong may not be the best Royal Guardsmen, given that your loyalties will be split between serving Tsavong, and serving Mierin. Do as you please, just food for thought

You won't ever be in command in the Royal Guard. Its basically Mierins personal army, her troops that she commands and that live aboard The Crimson Wraith. You'd have some authority over other troopers, but really you won't go near them.
