STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

(+) Powerful - Ephtrok is one of the finest specimens of Terrox left in existence. His muscular might is on par with wookies, making him a force to be reckoned with.
(+) Motivated - Taking motivation to the extreme, Ephtrok is hell-bent of reinstating the Terrox as a galactic power and will stop at nothing to make it happen.
(+) Unwavering - Thanks to the rites of priesthood, Ephtrok no longer feels fear.

(+/-) Terrox - Ephtrok possesses all of the strengths and weaknesses of his species.

(-) Terrible Depth Perception - For some reason, it is very hard for Ephtrok to judge distance.
(-) Bad Dexterity - Intricate movements regarding his hands are off the table for Ephtrok.

APPEARANCE:

Ephtrok possesses all of the distinctive features of a genuine Terrox, they are just amplified. His height surpasses the already towering average of 200 cm, his bony face-plate is highly defined and very dense. The spikes adorning his face-plate are numerous and large, signs of excellent genes and dominance. His musculature is outstanding, as well as the spikes sticking out of either of his elbows.

Although an excellent specimen of his species, Ephtrok is very similar to other Terrox who were designated as Terexites (Holy Men/Priests), as Terexites are the epitome of Terrox society and held in very high regard.

Ephtrok's Khaartek (personal armor) is designed to be awe-inspiring to Terrox and intimidating to others, and it does this job well. Like the helm, which is based on the Terrox God Grephyte's visage, the rest of the armour follows an angular design and an aggressive contour. Witnessed as a silhouette, it is simply terrifying.

BIOGRAPHY:

Ephtrok, like all surviving Terrox, was born during a golden era. An age of Terrox prosperity. They had nearly defeated their mortal enemies, the Mervusians, who were driven to the edge of the Terrox galaxy. This meant that the Terrox enjoyed seemingly infinite amounts of resources in their controlled space and as such, enjoyed a tremendous standard of living.

When Ephtrok had reached the stages of metamorphosis, the Mervusians had been all but defeated. Their last stronghold was located within a cluster of black holes and anomaly-ridden space. Only the Mervusians knew how to get in and out, despite a huge amount of Terrox attempts to bypass the impenetrable defenses.

The Mervusians sat within their space fortress for decades - unreached, unbeaten but not forgotten. Ephtrok went through the many rites of passage into priesthood during this time, attaining the prestigious rank of Terexite just before the 'event'. The rites of passage, or 'Derfix Rtaarben' in Terroxic, include honing the natural force sensitivity that all selected priests are born with. Hardly intricate or substantial compared to conventional Jedi or Sith teachings, the Derfix Rtaarben still allowed for all aspiring priests to gain some control over the force and apply it usefully during their lives as Terexites.

The 'Rhetarmarix' (destructor in galactic basic) was the culmination of many years of research and development conducted by a massive collaboration of the Terrox's best and brightest. It was simply a huge bomb that had the ability to eradicate black holes, or so the scientists and engineers thought. When the first prototype was test fired against the wall of black holes surrounding the Mervusian stronghold, it simply vanished within the dense gravitational field.

Confused but unfazed, the scientists returned to the drawing board, confident that the bomb had simply been ripped apart and sucked into the black hole before it could detonate. Many years of testing later, they gave up and confessed that it simply could not be done.

More years passed in which Ephtrok excelled in being a Terexite, leading him to become one of the youngest High Priests ever to be instated. During his initiation ceremony at the Gutarrox (The first and grandest temple in Terrox history, located on their home planet Terrexian), something catastrophic happened.

A message from the Mervusians, who had maintained silence for decades, stated that the reign of the Terrox had come to an end. It was a simple message that lacked hostility. It came across as a simple statement. Had the Terrox been able to comprehend humor they may have found the vague threat funny - mainly because in galactic terms, the threat was akin to an ant threatening an elephant.

What the Terrox didn't know was that many years earlier, during their test-firing of prototype bombs into a supposed black hole, a specialised Mervusian ship outfitted for stealth and collection, had been collecting each and every bomb fired by the Terrox. The bombs hadn't been consumed by black holes, they'd simply been retrieved by the Mervusians.

And if the Mervusians were anything, it was smart. Abnormally so. They reverse engineered the bombs to do exactly the opposite of shutting down a black hole. They created them. Suddenly, Terrox controlled space was no more, consumed by countless black holes spontaneously brought into existence by the scheming Mervusians.

Interestingly enough, Terrexian was left unscathed. Well, not quite. Although no black hole bombs consumed the planet and its system, the nearby apocalypse of known space created a huge gravitational field. Terrexian and its inhabitants were rapidly nearing annihilation.

As one of the three high priests left in known existence, Ephtrok collaborated with the other two to form a plan. According to Terexia, their religion, the Terrox were commanded to dominate the known universe by their God, Gryphte. Ephtrok proposed that this galaxy was their practice run and that they could 'do it for real' elsewhere. Besides, there wasn't much left of this galaxy to dominate.

According to calculations, Terrexian had twenty years before a nearby black hole consumed it. This gave Ephtrok and the two other High Priests a timeline in which to get their plan off the ground. Their plan was to use whatever natural resources were left on Terrexian to construct several sleeper ships to take the remaining Terrox to the closest galaxy they knew of. The Star Wars galaxy.

The plan was going well, except for the part were another black hole materialized where Terrexian used to be five years ago. It became clear that Terrexian was supposed to go with the rest of the galaxy, but had been spared by a technical error. This meant that the Terrox had to go now if they wanted to survive. With only eight sleeper ships complete, this resulted in millions of Terrox being left behind, thrown to oblivion as the remnants of an empire departed known space.

Ephtrok entered his cryopod fully clad in ceremonial armour, clutching a copy of the Gretaraxi tightly to his chest. In this position he remained for eons, until one day the faint ring of an alarm woke him...
