- The primary function of the glove is the dispersal and repurposing of energy, the special core created by the mixing of Neuranium and Silver forms a Singularity in the user's palm.

- While the device cannot be simply equipped on a whim, the attachment process is almost instantaneous and can be applied on the fly and/or during a combat situation.
- While the apparatus is able to absorb energy, the exact amount is finite, once the storage module reaches capacity the apparatus will cease to store more, Turning what was a micro Singularity into a simple deflector device
- Power output is regulated by necessary Cybernetics, however, there is a cap to it, any more power outputted than the regulated/recommended amount, and the device would critically fail, causing a catastrophic reaction, not to mention if one cybernetics short-circuited, the apparatus would lose some functionality.
- The power output is also determined by how much raw energy is stored in the power cell of the device, if little to none has been stored or prepared beforehand, then none of its output functions will have much power behind them.
- Though the spine of the Equal Handshake has Neuranium lined in it, repetitive direct blows from a lightsaber would eventually undo its structure.
- When in use the Gauntlet must be structurally and integrally attached to its host especially in the case of Cybernetic use. Because of this, the Spine of the device when in use is automatically riveted into pre-existing sockets located in the bone and muscle of the forearm, while the more electrical components are attached directly to nerve endings and cybernetic nodes. Were the systems to take damage, In the best-case scenario, the arm would go numb. In the worst-case scenario, say the apparatus gets snagged or ripped away, it would most likely take the ligament or at least most of the nervous/skeletal/muscular structure of the user's forearm along with it.
- Equal Handshake has almost no issue absorbing naturally occurring energy but when it comes to the force or a lightsaber, the absorption rate is severely impaired also resulting in backlash against whoever is wearing the Equal Handshake.
Vyn was raised to fight sith, and while it's possible with his skills alone, he always admired the Mandalorian gear in how it helped with force-sensitive individuals. Needing his own way to even the odds against those he hunted Vyn decided to take it further and in a different route, over the course of a year he slowly and painstakingly created the "Equal Handshake" and thought its end result was what he had in mind, it didn't go according to plan, it became an extension of himself, was he an engineer the requirements might not have been such drastic features. The base structure of the device is fairly simple, an exoskeletal forearm made of simple Durasteel with some Neuranium lined in for saber support, however closer to the palm the more complex happenings occur. A reactor core is made of a Neuranium and Silver mixture that's then neutrally charged by one's own nervous systems and electrical impulses, while governed by cybernetics.
The reactor creates what is described as a Singularity point in the user's palm. The singularity of the Equal Handshake creates a negatively charged point in the user's palm resulting in an energy-well/ energy deflector effect. The apparatus is also lined with Silver and Neuranium Receivers and Output modules with the same design as the core, along with the singularity this causes the apparatus to be capable of storing high amounts of Thermal, Electrical, or Kinetic Energy. Then using specific cybernetic enhancements the aforementioned singularity can be altered changing into a positive charge, expelling energy from the device in multiple ways. Because Vyn is no engineer several steps were taken during the development of Equal Handshake to ensure functionality.
- The backup power source of 'EH' was his own electrical impulses, this was done to always ensure the reactor would have a power source as long as the apparatus had "host" energy, which required a link into his nervous system.
- He had no way to regulate the functionality of 'EH' this resulted in him requiring cybernetics for it to function at peak ability.
- Because of the cybernetic and nervous system connections, Equal Handshake took on a symbiotic life, it had to be secured to the person when used, resulting in permanent minor surgeries along the left or right arm for the rivet points, cable hookups, and synapse receivers.
